Young Billy Bob moved to Texas and bought a Donkey from a farmer for $100.

The farmer agreed to deliver the Donkey the next day.

The next day he told Billy Bob, “Sorry son, but I have some bad news. Your donkey died.”

Billy Bob replied, “Well, then just give me my money back.”

“Can't do that,” the farmer said, “I went and spent it already.”

Billy Bob said, “Ok, then, just bring me the dead donkey.”

“What ya gonna do with him?” the farmer asked.

"Gonna raffle him off,” Billy Bob replied.

“You can't raffle off a dead donkey!” the astonished farmer said.

Billy Bob said, “Sure I can. Watch me. I just ain’t gonna tell anybody he's dead.”

A month later, the farmer met up with Billy Bob and asked.

“What happened with that dead donkey?”

“I raffled him off. Sold 500 tickets at two dollars a piece and made a profit of $898.”

The farmer asked, “Didn't anyone complain?”

“Just the guy who won. So I gave him back his two dollars,” a satisfied Billy Bob said.

Billy Bob now works on Wall Street for AIG.
