"Obama has started an S... Storm" said the woman speaking at the top of her lungs

By E. T. SIMON

Speaking at the top of her lungs, a woman claims that Obama has started a S... storm, shrouding in Obama blame, the crimes and consequences of the Bush-Cheney-Rice Torture Era.

::::::::

“Obama has started an S storm he cannot control,” said the woman at the top of her lungs, in defense, I suppose, of the George W. Bush and Dick Cheney Torture Era--but wait a minute here! What a tilted, one sided, point of view shrouding the crimes that Dick Cheney, George W. Bush and Condoleezza Rice are complicit in, in some sort of Obama blame?

Should the blood curling crimes of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney be kept under lock, down in a dungeon somewhere to protect them from the possibility of a heart drenching, fact finding, investigation, that, as suggested by Elizabeth de la Vega in her article, Of Black Holes and Radio Silence, might end in a webbed road that will clear the way for the  criminal prosecution and hopefully meted out justice that the Bush-Cheney-Rice triumvirate deserve?

According to the woman who was speaking from the top of her lungs, the upcoming release by the Obama White House, of  countless photos of American torturers torturing their human prey will act as a recruiting tool for the Taliban in Pakistan.

The thought dawns on me, however, that the Taliban in Pakistan, and everywhere else where people who hate us are poised, know a whole lot more and learned a whole lot earlier than we did, about the abuses committed by our very own American hands, at the dictates of our very own American President George W. Bush, his very own American Vice President, Richard (Dick) Cheney, and the complicit silence of a few voices in our very own Legislative Branch duped into silence,  by Darth Vader, DV's puppet, and the puppet’s nanny;also and by the silence of a few voices in the Legislative Branch for whom power and greed is a more important life tool, than honor, morality and doing the right thing.

The thought further dawns on me that it is not Obama nor his White House the ones who have started a S... storm by releasing the torture documents soon to be followed by the torture pictures--at least not the S... storm as implied by the woman speaking at the top of her lungs, since the excrement really hit the fan when the Triumvirate of Bush-Cheney-Rice looked for ways to make torture seem legal, excusable, and viable.

No. I don’t think it is the Obama White House which started the s… storm.

(For goodness sakes child, people even get incarcerated these days for abusing and/or torturing their pets and animals.)

I do think that if any possible Taliban recruits and other hating America people wherever they are poised are invited to see, through a non-political justice system, that criminals in the United States, wherever they are found, are, indeed brought to justice, that Americans indeed think that torture is an aberration which is incompatible with our American Justice system and our American values, then, instead of a s… storm (as the woman speaking at the top of her lungs claims) I have to think that Obama has released a redeeming  grace for the world to see, for Americans to regain a valuing of their justice system, and for our enemies to take a thought out pause in their emotionally wrought hatred for us and our country. A pause which might give them a more neutral place from which to view us. A pause which might just put a brake on their raw emotional hatred of us.

Yes.  It seems to me that if there is a … “s... storm” in the making, it should come from us, the American people demanding, until we are heard by our Justice system, a full fledged public inquiry into the iniquities of injustices committed by our very American triumvirate whose crimes so many are so unreasonably blindly trying to excuse.

That the members of the triumvirate did wrong, they themselves know.  Two of them have, so far, taken the, “I will say nothing that will incriminate me” route and have touted it with an, “Obama deserves my silence,” stance.

Yeah! Of course Obama deserves their silence.  They know the load of s… they deposited around this world and the load of s… they left in deposit at the White House for the incoming team to clean up.

There is, however, one member of the our American triumvirate, Dick Cheney, who is not going to go down without a fight.  He knows that he did wrong. He is going to defend his wrong doing until the end. He does not want to be our very own American Vice-President, incarcerated for the rest of his life for crimes committed against us and against the world.

So, after having been the MOST secretive member of that triumvirate, after having lived for eight years in a cave (or a dungeon, depending on one’s POV), after having lied to the American people time after time and time again, after having played the bully in the Senate, after having committed his many crimes, he is clamoring for LIGHT to come out and to be shone on those tortures memos, or at least, on the portion of the torture memos he believes will exonerate him  … and he continues to lie. He hopes his continued lies and distortions, will exonerate him.

So, I say, Yes!

Yes!  Let the storm begin right here, right now, right in our Justice system, away from special prosecutors and appointed commissions which might block the truth from coming out or the getting to the bottom of this black pot, this black eye on America given to it by the Bush-Cheney-Rice triumvirate.

Let the storm begin and let true Light shine out!

And may Eric Holder have the guts to let the Light shine out and to hold the triumvirate accountable.

Authors Bio:
E.T.SIMON ... Keeping the Bio Real and Transparent ...
E. T. SIMON is more often like a transplanted palm tree from the land of Santiago de Cuba where she was born to a Cuban, Tulane University, lawyer educated father and, a Mississippi, mother, great-granddaughter of American Revolutionary War hero, Brigadier General Andrew Pickens who is credited with the victory against the British in the Battle of the Cowpens. Although at times, E.T. Simon is more like, the fruit of the pecan of her Mississippi grandparents pecan farm of long ago, or even like the Sycamore so firmly rooted in the Florida Peninsula. As such, the daughter of bi-cultural, bi-lingual parents, E.T. Simon navigated the bi-cultural ties, bi-lingual shores of her birth, while learning to appreciate Cuban and Southern cuisine and cultures, from a very early age.

At the age of 15, two years after her mother's death, she dreamt about running away from her home to join the , "Bohemians" of the 1950s in New York's Greenwich Village and become a writer. She did not. In 1961, at the age of 18 her father sent her across the pond to her mother's family in Mississippi in an effort to keep her from falling prey to Fidel Castro's repressive agents who were on her trail for her opposition to Fidel Castro.
Bumpy rides, or not, In 1976, E.T. Simon, after twelve years of part time studies, with in-between times-off for parenting, obtained her B.A. in English with a Major in Literature and a double minor in Psychology and Philosophy. In 1985 she obtained her Master's Degree in Counseling and in 1987 her License in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Her quest to pursue a MFA in Creative Writing was derailed when a stuffed shirt Chaucer Literature Professor graded her paper on The Prioress Tale short of the A she needed to establish her credentials in the MFA Creative Writing Program, even while receiving the support of the Academic Dean who told her with a certain urgency, "don't stop writing. You'll find a way."
Prior to pursuing her graduate studies in counseling, Ms. E.T. Simon joined a Creative Writing Group where she honed in on some of the art and craft of writing and had the pleasure of attending poetry readings by Tess Gallagher, Denise Levertov, Rutabaga Rose and others.
Following her 1985 graduation, Ms. E.T. Simon proceeded to work as a counselor/family therapist until 1998 when, following surgery, she became a near recluse and has remained a near recluse for the last twelve years or so.
It was during those years that she worked as a counselor/family therapist that Ms. E.T. Simon learned that grief is a powerful agent which often contributes to the derailing of families; that human hearts can bury grief for generations and generations with the grief popping up unexpectedly as a symptom anywhere, sometimes even in someone else further along in the generations.
Ms. E.T. Simon also learned that when careful unearthing of buried grief happens and a person is enabled to truly grieve the pain of a loss they have been holding on to for years, then rebalancing of the derailment takes place and true healing occurs.

Writing is a lifelong love of E.T. Simon's, and whether she kept her writings buried in dusty drawers, or shared them with university professors, writers' groups, editors, or published them, the writer's flame burns undying in her. The flame of truth also burns in her along with the need to stand up for the underdog, of which, today, she finds herself to be one. This blended well in her throughout her years of computer activism for peace and social justice.

E.T. Simon's articles have been published under the name of TERESA SIMON-NOBLE, the pen name of ELENA DUMAS; and at times, under the additional pen name of SKYAGUNSTA, or SKYAGUNSTA PICKENS, both of which are a direct reference to her great-great-grandfather Brigadier General Andrew Pickens who was named "Skyagunsta," by Native Americans who came to appreciate him as a man of conscience. Please also know that whether the articles have been signed with one name, or another; with a pen name, or another, the writings have always come straight from my heart, my perception, and my core values.
In other words, it has always been me, and only me, writing the articles.
