The terrorists could never have inflicted upon us the damage that W has.

By winston

W inflicted worse damage on the US than bin laden could ever have dreamed for. Big bro 43 destroyed our economy, our legal system, and ruined our international standing and who gained by it? Al-Qaida used Iraq as a recruiting bonanza and the top 1% stuffed money into their pockets while Herr Karl dreamed of building a permanent GOP majority. Put them in cages with the other rabid animals!

::::::::

The terrorists would love for the US to become bankrupt and big bro 43 can stand in front of a banner with "Mission Accomplished" for that feat.

No president during the history of the US ever waged a war without getting the entire US to sacrifice financially by increasing taxes. W did the mirror image of that and redistributed resources to the top 1%. How many yachts can those slime balls buy?

Get the top 1% to return all of the extra money they got during big bro 43 years. Get the Halliburton's and Blackwater's to return all out standing income they have from Iraq war now.

What have they done to our legal system a hallmark of a democracy that bin laden dreamed of ruining?

The article "Supporters Of $1.3 Trillion Bush Tax Cuts In 2001 Now Call $900 Billion Recovery Plan Billion 'Too Much'" at click here expresses the GOP's hypocrisy as it states "As the senate version of the economic recovery package makes its way through Congress, a significant (though misguided) criticism of the package from Senate Republicans is that it is "too big." For example, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) claimed, "from the very first moment of this debate, there's been strong bipartisan agreement on one thing: the original version of this bill was too big."

Back when big bro 43 passed his tax cuts Senator Kyl stated "I was there when the president signed into law the tax cut. ... [I]f that isn't one of the best things we can do to get this economy going again, then it seems to me that the American people might well lose confidence in what we're doing, which would be the worst thing to do for the economy," and Senator Ensign said "Well, I don't know that we're going to get to the - you know, the total $1.3 trillion tax cut. I do think the tax cuts are necessary right now."

How much other benefits did the richest gain from that ultimate raper of the poor to enrich the rich W?

The article "400 richest Americans' incomes doubled under Bush" at click here  states " Capital gains made up 63 percent of the richest 400 Americans' adjusted gross income in 2006, or a combined $66.1 billion, according to the data. In all, the 400 wealthiest Americans reported a combined $105.3 billion of adjusted gross income in 2006, the most recent year for which the IRS has data."

This probably isn't close, but how do we know what other benefits can be attributed to W raping the poor to aid the rich, but let's multiply 8 times 105 billion and you get $840 billion. Add that to $1.3 trillion and you get $2.1 trillion.

How would that $2.1 trillion look right now? But that isn't all of the planned, calculated damage that big bro 43 inflicted upon our economy. You have to add in the costs of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

The article "'Hidden Costs' Double Price Of Two Wars, Democrats Say" at

shows how W engaged in propaganda regarding the costs of his two theaters in the everlasting war against terrorism states "The economic costs to the United States of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan so far total approximately $1.5 trillion, according to a new study by congressional
Democrats that estimates the conflicts' "hidden costs"-- including higher oil
prices, the expense of treating wounded veterans and interest payments on the money borrowed to pay for the wars.

That amount is nearly double the $804 billion the White House has spent or
requested to wage these wars through 2008, according to the Democratic staff of Congress's Joint Economic Committee."

And who got that money? You have to always follow the money with these vile GOP ghouls. The article "Missing Iraq billions could be 'greatest fraud in US history'" at click here is overly optimistic. It is only the greatest fraud we know about.

Forget about the money he pissed away in Homeland Security and his homage to Reagan Star Wars, but that totals $1.5 trillion + $2.1 trillion = $3.6 trillion.

Now you get GOP hypocrisy devotees whining about Obama's various bailouts. Why didn't they reign in the "bubble boy"?

The article "On the Edge" at click here talks about how the US can learn from Japan's recent problem stating "Japan experienced a "lost decade" of deflation and stagnation in the 1990s - and the only thing that let Japan escape from its trap was a global boom that boosted the nation's exports.
Who will rescue America from a similar trap now that the whole world is slumping at the same time?

Would the Obama economic plan, if enacted, ensure that America won't have its own lost decade? Not necessarily: a number of economists, myself included, think the plan falls short and should be substantially bigger. But the Obama plan would certainly improve our odds."

The article "Bad Economy Makes US Vulnerable to Enemies, Official Warns"

click here states "The global economic crisis colors all other threats
confronting the United States, the new director of national intelligence told
the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on Feb. 12.

Dennis C. Blair said the crisis raises the level of uncertainty in the world and
places new areas of the globe in danger."

W always warned that terrorists love areas where there is no political or economic stability. He has made the US just that sort of area as the article continues "Al-Qaida cells may grow in the United States, Blair said. "We remain concerned about the potential for homegrown extremists inspired by the al-Qaida militant ideology to plan attacks in the United States, Europe and elsewhere without operational direction from the group itself," he said. U.S. agencies will focus on identifying ties between U.S.-based individuals and extremist networks overseas."

Remember big bro 43 was going to get bin laden "dead or alive". Not so much as the article continues "Al-Qaida remains a threat in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The group portrays itself as aiding Taliban insurgents who are fighting Western imperialism, Blair said.

In Pakistan's tribal areas, the terror group lost many of its leaders in 2008,
he said. While this has weakened the group in the area, the group in Pakistan remains the most dangerous and continues to plot against the United States and U.S. interests from havens in the region."

The article "Justice probe may pose 'enormous consequences' for Bush officials" at click here reveals how big bro 43 subverted our legal system as the article states "A Department of Justice report has called into question the entire legal basis of the Bush administration's repeated justifications of abusing prisoners captured in the former president's terror war. According to Monday night's guest on MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show, the "consequences" of some of the report's findings could be "enormous" for members of the Bush administration.

A draft of the report from the Office of Professional Responsibility, the department's watchdog unit, was submitted during the waning days of the Bush administration, but former Attorney General Michael Mukasey objected to it, according to a Monday report by Newsweek reporter Michael Isikoff.

Isikoff said "I talked to a number of Bush administration lawyers who'd been questioned as part of this. And they said the OPR investigators who did this report got internal e-mails, internal drafts, of back and forth correspondence with the White House to reconstruct how these memos came to be crafted.
"And if, in fact, it's shown essentially senior officials in the Bush administration at the White House and others were dictating and in collusion with the lawyers with the Justice Department to sort-of predetermine what the outcome was, then, in fact, the look into how these memos, could go elsewhere; It could go beyond just the authors of these memos into the people who ... Into the clients they were seeking to please."

The Democrats suspected Mukasey would be just a mere "Fredo" and they were right. Maybe big bro 43 and the Dickless, impotent Cheney will soon be testifying about their roles in these memos.

These particular set of crimes have the added negative effect of increasing the number of terrorists will to throw their loves away to kill innocent US citizens. According to testimony by Alberto Mora, the former general counsel of the Navy in the Senate Armed Services Committee report released December 11, 2008 "There are serving U.S. flag-rank officers who maintain that the first and second identifiable causes of U.S. combat deaths in Iraq - as judged by their effectiveness in recruiting insurgent fighters into combat - are, respectively, the symbols of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo.'' Mora testified.

Big bro 43 told you few remaining red staters that he'd protect you. Well the economic insecurity within the US has made our homeland a potential hotbed for extremist Islamic jihadists probably living in your streets of extremist Christian jihadist victims. Maybe instead of calling him your protected you'd want big bro 43 to be labeled as a jihadist enabler.

And the vile GOP has plans to act like the Taliban. Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX), chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, said House Republicans -- who voted unanimously last week against the economic plan pushed by President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi -- will pitch a "positive, loyal opposition" to the proposal. The group, he added, should also "understand insurgency" in implementing efforts to offer alternatives.
"Insurgency, we understand perhaps a little bit more because of the Taliban," Sessions said during a meeting yesterday with Hotline editors. "And that is that they went about systematically understanding how to disrupt and change a person's entire processes. And these Taliban -- I'm not trying to say the Republican Party is the Taliban."

The GOP as the Taliban comes in a week when a GOP propaganda piece prints a cartoon in which a vile, but typical racial symbol of Obama is shot and the speaker asks who will have the nerve to write the next stimulus package.

The GOP wants to give the top 1%, all of big bro 43's international cronies, our every last cent and will threaten a man who is trying to right big bro 43's crimes.

Bin laden could never have hoped for a more completely devastated US.

Submitters Bio:
Winston Smith is an ex-Social Worker. I worked in child welfare, and in medical settings and in homeless settings. In the later our facility was geared as a permanent address for people to apply for welfare. Once they received that we could send them to facilities in which their welfare paid the bill and provided enough for a meager existence. We also referred people to vocational rehabilitation services. Many of the people who came to us were people who were clearly emotionally ill, but Reagan's slashing of the services for these people caused them to become homeless. One woman I dealt with-St. Jane, believed she was in direct communication with God, urinated freely without using the facilities and she had 47 bags of trash which were prized possessions. She got welfare and was sent to a facility were she could survive. The rule was that our facility could be used 1 time only as we had too many people who thought that the services that we provided we would lift them from the dire straights that they were in. Well, we provided our services for St. Jane around Thanksgiving. On Christmas Eve she was back with her 47 bags of trash and wanted to stay at our facility. I informed my superior of this situation, but we declined to provide services for St. Jane. She slept in front of our facility in a snowstorm. The local rag took the picture and excoriated us for what we did. The local welfare department asked her where she would like to live. St. Jane said Chicago because she liked the wind. She knew on one there. She and her 47 bags of trash of were carted onto a train for the windy city and never of again. The local welfare department was glad to get shed of her. Social welfare in the mid-1980's was geared to blame the victim. Ill people were sent home from hospitals were no one was going to help them because social welfare budgets were slashed by Reagan. Bush 41's "thousand points of light" was just another way to shaft the weakest in our society. Bush 43's faith based initiative was just another attempt to reduce social welfare services. Reagan's "Just say No" was the pinnacle of hypocrisy. No services for those who desperately needed them under the guise of tough love.

Obviously I became burnt out by too much indifference regarding our weak and weary. I couldn't look at desperate people and could not get myself to say that what I could offer them wouldn't really help them"it would only get them out of my office to be another person's problem, until the local welfare department carted them away.

I had little interest in politics until the illegal Iraq War started. Growing up in the 1960's caused me to understand that the GOP used war to attract right-wing extremists to vote for them. When "Tricky Dick's" secret plan to end the Vietnam War unfolded into elongating our presence there for 8 years I knew that I would never believe a GOP war-monger again. I dislike Obama's plan to escalate our presence in Afghanistan and see it as a craven attempt to placate the GOP. Maybe he'll reduce the GOP's attacks against him, but it will at the expense of alienating his base.
