I believe the primary objection to Barack Obama from conservative rich people is not because of his liberalism or his associations, but because of his skin color.

I have been watching the extreme desperation from many people, primarily rich people, slamming Barack Obama this election.  My big question is, why do they hate him so much?  Why is he so scary to them? They run around and make all kinds of claims of his associations, his liberalism, his judgment.  I for one don't see what the problem is.  McCain has similar associations. Rev. Hagee, Charles Keeting and G. Gordon Liddy. McCain has highly questionable judgment and he is erratic.

Obama seems to have weathered a very contemptuous primary, and now general election. What exactly has he done to deserve such hatred?  I just don't get it.

Is it really the Reverend Wright, William Ayers and Rezko associations? Seriously? I think I would get a little wiggy if they held prominent roles in his campaign, but they are nobodies in his life. Do we really believe that we are shaped as human beings by the people we hang out with, or the sermon's that we've heard, or the newspapers that we've read, or what the media tells us to be true? Do we lack the capacity to think for ourselves?

Perhaps it is his extreme liberalism. Oooh he's really scary.  Did we see this type of hatred for Ted Kennedy when he was running for President? He's an extreme liberal, right? No, I think there is something more sinister at play here.

 I think the extreme hatred for this nice, young, intelligent, educated, handsome, Presidential candidate and Senator from Illinois is race. Plain and simple.
