The Son Of Cain

By James Bush

Nationalism again.

::::::::

He wraps himself in the flag

Sacrifice for the country
Is his stated creed

Forget yourself
And put country first

"Fight with me!"
"Fight with me!"

Don't worry about
Your job, health care, or education

Never mind that I am wealthy
And you are poor

Don't worry about the environment
We'll drill our way out of trouble

Don't worry about the war
We'll kill our way out of trouble

Give me your vote and your money
We'll spend it well for you

Forget what the greatest Republican said
About a government...
"Of the people, by the people, and for the people"

Hear my call
To join in the fight against evil
Wherever evil lurks...out there

Forget that I have been here before
Forget that I play a Nationalist game
Forget that I am more of the same

Forget that I Am...

The Son of Cain
