A Creation Story
::::::::
All was void
And there occured a wrinkle in the void
With the wrinkle came time and space
And time and space knew itself
In the knowing
Self knew
It was one
In the knowing
Self knew
It was alone
In the knowing
Self felt
Loneliness
In its loneliness
Self pulled time and space
Around itself
In its desire not to be alone
Self continued wrinkling
Itself unto itself
As Self continued wrinkling itself
Self forgot the first wrinkle
And lost itself within itself
Eventually, the world
And everything and everyone in it
Came to be
Self was no longer one
Self was no longer alone
Self could hide from it's loneliness
Within the wrinkles of time and space
Self saw the universe and all its wonders
Forgetting that they were only shadows of itself
Within the worlds of people, places, and things
Self could lose itself in struggle, suffering, and pain
And escape into pleasure, passion, and desire
But with all of this
Self could not fully escape the feeling of loneliness
That lay at the core of it's existance
With all of this
Self knew
That it was still alone
And, in time
Many of its shadows
Began to ask why
In time
Many of its shadows
Began to seek out Self
In time
Many of its shadows
Began to call Self God
In time
Many of Self's shadows
Wanted to know their creator
In time
Self's shadows wanted to know
That they were not alone
Some found their way to Self
And realized the truth
That they had never been seperate or alone
Some faced the facts of their existance
And the face of who they really are
In the loneliness of God
And Self
With the help of its shadows
Knew itself
And Self
Stood at the crossroads
Between the void and the world
And Self understood
The meaning and purpose
Of love
All was void
And there occured a wrinkle in the void
With the wrinkle came time and space
And time and space knew itself
