Isn't ANYTHING in this world worth fighting for? Not according to Nancy Pelosi.

I was listening to an interview, this morning, with Nancy Pelosi. Once again she was giving her same old argument that she couldn't put certain things to a vote because, "We don't have a veto proof majority."

I would like to know what world Nancy Pelosi is living in. She's out there trying to sell her book, "Know Your Power", supposedly written for her daughter(s). And yet, she is telling the WORLD, that NOTHING in this WORLD is WORTH FIGHTING FOR, not torture, not lies, not invasion of another or other countries, not vote rigging, not stopping an illegal occupation of Iraq, not stopping an invasion of Iran, not threatening a war with Russia, not permanent incarceration of innocent people, not protecting the American People from illegal searches and seizers, not illegal wire tapping of Americans IN America, not putting Democratic governors in prison on trumped up charges for political reasons, not putting border patrol agents in prison also on trumped up charges for trying to protect our borders, not for any other crime you can name, UNLESS you are guaranteed BEFORE YOU BEGIN, THAT YOU ARE GOING TO WIN.

Would SOMEONE please tell Nancy Pelosi that there ARE NO GUARANTEES in life. Any one of us could die TODAY or TOMORROW. What really matters in the long run is what kind of a mark you will leave on your family, friends, and future generations. This country would NOT EXIST if our founding fathers had had the kind of "Do nothing unless you have a guarantee you WILL win." attitute of Nancy Pelosi.

The important thing is to FIGHT FOR WHAT'S RIGHT, and if you lose, you try again and again and again. Fight hard enough and fight like you care about the outcome and right can prevail. But we are going to get nowhere really really FAST with the same old "Don't rock the boat" attitude of the cowardly Nancy Nay Sayers of this world. Nancy Pelosi is a DISGRACE as Speaker of the House. By not being willing to let any bill come to the floor for a vote UNLESS she is guaranteed a winning outcome, she is selling out the entire country. If prosecutors felt this way, not one person would be in prison, no matter what their crime.

Stand up for what's RIGHT, Ms. Pelosi, or get out and let someone who thinks this country is worth their time.

I believe that all commodities should be nationalized. All of the oil that is pumped in the U.S. comes from public lands. Therefore, all profits from that oil should belong to the citizens and NOT to a few corporate CEO's. That should have never happened.
I firmly believe we need a single payer health care system. It makes NO sense AT ALL to pay insurance companies to deny health care to people in need instead of paying the doctors who provide the care. It's time we gave doctors a fair shake. It sure won't make any difference how much health INSURANCE you have or can afford, if there are no doctors left to treat you.
I believe Dennis Kucinich should have been the presidential nominee and not Barack Obama and that the "leaders" of the Democratic Party were way out of line telling Hillary she had to get out.
I believe way too many of our politicians have sold out on their commitment to "Uphold and protect the Constitution" our founding fathers fought so hard for, in the name of profits for their biggest campaign donors and the next election. The American people have a RIGHT to know what our government is up to and to have a say in what our money is spent on. If our own leaders will not fight for what's right, our children and grandchildren are doomed to live in a third rate dictatorship where the ONLY free speech is MONEY and the only ones with a voice are those who have it and where WAR is forever and kidnapping, torture and crime is the norm of their existence.
