"THIS IS FOR KHATTAB!"

By Dale Hill

Every time they clapped for the president's good news in Iraq, I had to force myself from throwing up. You see, I know what it feels like to lose a child - a baby that mommy carried for 9 months and was raised only to die in Iraq for a fake war! You see, when a child dies, we don't see their future children and accomplishments. We bury them, ... with a drapped American flag which is given to the parents. How neat!

Lies, Half Truths And The Gullibles!

I watched most of the president's speech last night after the Oklahoma University/Oklahoma State University basketball game. Bedlam. OU won, in an ugly game. Then, I stayed up and caught most of the speech on a CNN replay. I am sick of hearing Bush speak. Like my elderly neighbor says, "I turn the channel rather than listening to him." And his job is to drive a bus carrying soldiers, twice a week, from one base to another.

What is it with all the dumb clapping when it comes to Iraq? Those who clapped are idiots. We're not going to win this war, because it is no war. Bush was stupid to step into Iraq and make it a pig sty, and now he is lying about the progress. Check the death rate? Do we clap when only 10 died this month? 5? 1? Any is too many, and there is no end to it. Clapping for a reduction of deaths in Iraq is ugly. Honorable silence would have been better. Heck, no one there is in Iraq, walking the streets. Oh, ... I know; it was God's will that the 10 Americans were killed in the last couple of weeks, over there. They are our "HEROS." I'm sick of it.

The military announces the death count when ever they want. If 5 were killed in an IDE and snipper fire, we get reports that only one US soldier was killed "SO FAR." Is it getting better? Get this week's Time, and it will clear things up quickly.

The title of the article is "Coming To America," under the WORLD section, reported by Bryan Bennett in Phoenix. The article is about the beautiful wife and son, of a Baghdad Time staffer who was dragged out of his car and was killed. "Soft targets!" The two move to Phoenix, because it will be hot and no "snow." They were surprised how hot it was.

Maybe you can find the article online. But the mother is struggling to survive on a teacher's aide salary, ... $700 a month. Her apartment rental costs $750 a month. They are Muslim, but "the local Chaldean Catholic Church," is helping her out. The fact is, we have only admitted 2,700 Iraqi's to flee to the US since 2003 - a disgrace, and most of them are Iraqis who are/were translators or worked closely with the Americans and can no longer stay there, because they will die.

The lady is struggling big time and thinks that she would be better off, if she moved back to Baghdad, ... until she phones home to her sister who tells her not to even think about coming back. That her sister's son was nearly kidnapped and that her American sister is way better off. (Baghdad is so much safer now with the surge!)

"When I see Khattab," (her son) "this let me to stay here," she says in her broken English. "O.K., this is for Khattab. This is the future for Khattab."

Paint that glorious picture in bright colors, and let's all stand up and clap. You see, the clapping covers up the fact that some of our sons and daughters will be killed over there for years, ... because Iraq will never be America. It's a crap shoot over there, on which of our soldiers will be killed each month, and how many of them. Get real and stop the stupid standing up and applauding. There are an endless supply of virgins waiting for dead Iraqis. There was a better way to help the Iraqi people than the absolute, stupid bumbling of Bush and his corny crew. They are nothing but a bunch of rich jerks.

Oh, I forgot. I did see Bush's two daughters and neither of them were wearing military clothing. Bush killed that boy's daddy, as sure as the Sooners beat the OSU Cowboys!
