There are four items of evidence that make it a mathematical certainty that Bush and Cheney will attack Iran.

I was asked if I think that we are going to attack Iran.  I answered that, of course not, we are not going to attack Iran.  I am not going to.  You are not going to.  No one reading this is going to attack Iran.

The people who will attack Iran are Bush and Cheney, the Republican 24 percenters who support them, and the United States Congress.  But, we, the people, most certainly won't.

Just look at the evidence that Bush and Cheney will attack Iran:

1. Bush and Cheney are making the same false claims about and threats against Iran that they made to get their illegal attack against Iraq.

2. The Republican Congress gave Bush whatever he wanted to illegally attack Iraq.

3. The Democratic Congress has given Bush whatever he wants to continue his illegal attack on Iraq, and anything else he has wanted.  They have denied him nothing.

4. The pattern that Congress has set is that all Bush has to do is tell Congress what he wants to attack Iran and they'll give it to him.

Add 'em up.  Here's what you get:

1+2+3+4=attack Iran.

The Democratic Congress has huffed and puffed and righteously proclaimed that they're not going to do this or that for Bush and they're not going to give him this or that.  But, when Bush stamps his foot and glowers at them, they have always shuffled backwards out of his presence and turned around and given him everything he asked for, just the way he wants it.  There's no evidence that they will ever do otherwise.  All the evidence is that they will continue to shuffle and scrape and bow to Bush.  I don't understand how members of the United States Congress are so afraid of George Bush.  I damned sure am not, and I'm just an ordinary person.

The Democrats don't realize that Bush has no more power or authority over Congress than I do.  It's right there in the Constitution the power that Congress has but Congress has conceded that power to George Bush.  Apparently, like the description of God, the ways of Congress are mysterious, unknowable and beyond human understanding.

I have absolutely no understanding of what the hell is going on, but I can take credit for pointing the finger of blame where the blame is due, at the United States Congress.  We have a puppet Congress that is a tool for George Bush to use as he wants.

One possible explanation for the inexplicable actions of our Congress is that George Bush is a very experienced, professional politician and the leaders of Congress are also very experienced, professional politicians.  It's like comparing a monkey to a tribe of orangutans, there are more similarities than there are differences.  There are more similarities between Bush and Congress than there are between us and them because we are not the very experienced, professional politicians who make $165,200 a year and don't have to go to work every day to earn it.  That's the difference.

To professional politicians, we, the people, are a different biological order of being that can be safely ignored until election time.  Then, we can be manipulated and influenced to behave as wanted, much like bacteria in a petri dish, to achieve the desired result.  To Bush and Congress, we are as insignificant as benign bacteria.

What pisses me off is that we elected the Democrats to get rid of Bush and instead they have left him in office and not only continue to empower him but have also turned over their Congressional powers and duties to him.  We've done everything we can, short of armed insurrection, to remove Bush from office and we've failed.

Every day, every hour, every minute, every second that Bush remains President is a continuing stain on our country that will be harder and harder to remove, if it is even possible to be removed.  As long as Bush remains the President of the United States and the occupier of Iraq, the United States, like Iraq, is a failed nation.

George Bush's attack on Iran should cause Britain, Russia, Germany, France and the other countries of the EU to think, Hey, this guy Bush has attacked two countries for no reason at all and his country has let him do it.  What if he gets it into his head to attack our country for no reason at all?  What should we do about that?  Well, the answer is obvious.

When George Bush's version of the United States illegally attacks Iran, combined with his having illegally attacked Iraq, the civilized nations of the world can reasonably view the United States as a rogue nation conducting a reign of terror on innocent countries that have done nothing to the United States.  They can then see that they must defend themselves from the same irrational, unprovoked, aggressive attack on their countries and combine forces to justifiably bring about regime change in the United States and restore it to compliance with its Constitution, the UN Charter, the Geneva Convention and international law.

I don't know the procedures required in other countries for declaring war, but I can see that with Bush's attack on Iran, they would be entirely justified in doing so.  Bush thinks he's immune to any interference from other countries, but he's obviously unaware that before George Bush, when the United States was a civilized country, the United States allied itself with other civilized countries to rid the world of another tyrant conducting, irrational, unprovoked, aggressive war on innocent countries.  That was World War II.  George Bush is setting us up with the exact same conditions by taking the exact same actions that provoked that war.

The United States can either take pre-emptive action to rid itself of George Bush or other countries can take pre-emptive action to do so for their own protection.  We're going to have to get George Bush out of office, whatever it takes, before other countries do it for us.  Those countries learned a lesson at the beginning of World War II and they're not going to sit back and allow it to happen to them again.
