EN GUARD! PULL OUT YOUR SWORD!

By Dale Hill

Right-wingers are bull-headed and contentious. Don't be afraid to take them on, even when they start babbling about a million babies killed.

::::::::

Elgin , a great basketball town, has a new manufacturing company, which will certainly mean more jobs and growth. The town is right outside Lawton, Oklahoma, where Fort Sill Army Base is. It is on this battlefield that our soldiers learn to shoot artillery. The new manufacturing company in Elgin has a fat contract with The Pentagon to build a new canon. Canon? I thought the canon went the way of The Civil War! History!

We learned today that "liberals" read more books than "conservatives." The conservatives, though, seem to be spawning around right-wing Internet sites that agree with their brand of conservative thought. Challenge a right-winger on the Internet, and you will find your inbox filled with right-wing spam; the thing that will kill them, is that, just because their crap fills your inbox, you don't have to read it. If you read it, you don't have to respond to it. That alone, will drive them up a wall. And, though a right-winger will never admit that they are wrong, they all have blood pressure problems, when they are slammed with the truth. Try this.

"You should support the president in times of war! If you don't, then you are a treasonist!" they say as their eyes turn a squinted red, while their jaws and fists clinch. "We are at war!"

"No we are not!" you emphasize. "Only Congress can wage war and as of yet, they have not voted to declare war."

"Harrumpf!" you hear, as you watch the veins on their face begin to bulge and their red neck even turn redder.

"If we were at war, we would be rationing gas, and Chrysler would be spending a big part of their time, up-armoring their jeeps, and other war vehicles. Yet, those vehicles are being up-armored at Fort Hood in Texas."

"Phew!" the right-winger spits.

"Worse than that," you continue. "Bush's war is up-armoring China's vast military. All those little flags that they raise in John Hagee's church? You got it. They are made in China. 75% of the flags sold in the US are made in China!"

Jesus is a Savior of peace! Peter was ready to do battle for Jesus, and Jesus asked him to put away his sword.

John 18:10-11 (Darby Translation)
Public Domain

10: Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, and smote the bondman of the high priest and cut off his right ear; and the bondman's name was Malchus.

11: Jesus therefore said to Peter, Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given me, shall I not drink it?

There is no doubt that the right-wingers are flying with less than Biblically engineered wings, ... or a Biblical mind. You see, they read only the first chapter of Genesis.

Genesis 2: 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

Most Christians think that the Garden Of Eden was around Bethlehem. WOOPS! The above is specific, where it defines it in the Mesopotamia Valley, right where Bush has our soldiers fighting. It is the cradle of civilization. Baghdad Museum is still missing a dozen important antiquities because Bush was only interested in only serious guarding the oil buildings. Our bombs have wiped billions of dollars worth of antiquities.

19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.

Woops! There are animals and birds yet to be found and named, not even mentioning insects. All the creatures in the water? Our oceans are less explored than the moon! Who knows what fish and "mammals" are hanging around the bottom of the ocean, never seen by human eyes.

15 But the LORD said to him, "Not so [e] ; if anyone kills Cain, he will suffer vengeance seven times over." Then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. 16 So Cain went out from the LORD's presence and lived in the land of Nod, [f] east of Eden.

17 Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. 18 To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.

Wait a minute, here, ... where did all these other people come from? God only created Adam and Eve, and they had two kids, buried one and loses the other to the land of Nod.

But this is not all about these right-wingers that doesn't pass the Biblical smell test. The right-wingers call themselves "BORN-AGAIN CHRISTIANS." They usually pronounce it "borned again Christian." But that is not at all Biblical.

# John 3:3
In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "
John 3:2-4 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter)

# John 3:7
You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'
John 3:6-8 (in Context) John 3 (Whole Chapter)

# 1 Peter 1:23
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

Acts 11:26
and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.

Read over those Scriptures. The phrase "Born-Again Christian" is never used in The Bible. It is a bastardization of the Word as written. Taking a few Scriptures here and a few there, then put them together and call them a Biblical truth. It is not truthful at all.

Have you heard of "prayer language?" Here again is another example of what I call, Scripture "bastardization." Back in Oral Roberts' day, speaking in tongues referred to the speaking in an unknown tongue and had to be instantly "interpreted." Been at churches where this happened, ... or was faked! It simply not Biblical, and they finally realized that. So, in the 2000 Christianity, it is now referred to as a prayer language. No interpretation needed. A prayer of a Christian in a tongue of angels that only Jesus can understand. Toby Keith has a song out where he calls for his "better angels."  Hmm? I didn't know there were lesser angles. Christian who believe everyone has a guardian angel, would take umbrage over that. But dig this.

Romans 8:26
And in like manner the Spirit joins also its help to our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for as is fitting, but the Spirit itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Wait a minute. What does that say? We do not even have to pray out loud, because ... well, ... we don't have to. God hears and knows our needs, even before we pray. Man are orally challenged people lucky.

It is fun studying The Bible. Especially now, with all the study helps on the Internet! The Old Testament IS the history of the Jewish people. Did you notice the rivers Euphrates and Tigris in Genesis? Disbelievers, like Kitchens and Maher, hate The Bible and consider it all fiction. But yet, ... geographically and historically in the Old Testament, the kings and queens were real and rivers, mountain ranges, and other geographic descriptions are "right-on, ... even today.

So, the best way to deal with right-wing Christians, is by taking them to The Bible. The 14th commandment is, "Thou shalt not be afraid to take thy sword (your Bible) out with a right-winger."

I hope all of you had the opportunity to watch Christiane Amanpour Reports, "God's Warrior," on CNN, but if you didn't get to see it, it will be rebroadcast. I'm going to burn it; it is that good.

Most of these right-wing Christians (?) believe in a "God who blesses Christians with material blessings." Luckily they weren't born in Haiti.  Jesus didn't even have a mortgage! But dig this!

2 Kings 5:1-27 (Darby Translation)
This about Elisha! A great prophet of God. With my beard and hair, sometimes I even FEEL like Elisha!

Namaan had leprosy. A king who couldn't leave his castle. Lepers were considered unclean and were despised by the people. So dig this!

9 And Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the doorway of the house of Elisha.

10 And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

11 And Naaman was wroth, and went away and said, Behold, I thought, He will certainly come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and wave his hand over the place, and cure the leper.

12 Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them and be clean? And he turned and went away in a rage.

Real prophets and men of God lived meagerly. When I sold Bibles, I called those houses, "Homes you could throw a sample case through." That's the kind of home that Elisha and Eligah lived in. Jesus didn't even have a home. The wealth Gospel preached today is an antithesis of what Jesus preached.

I have an uncle who was a great preacher. He didn't believe in buying a home or even planning for retirement. He truly believed that God would take care of him, and so far, his theory was correct. The very Bible that these right-wingers use to attack a liberal, can be used to point out their misinterpretations. No humbleness, they think, when they have The Bible on their side. And our million babies? The Old Testament God wiped out Soddom and Gomorrha and ordered AI and Jericho to be slaughtered. All cities have babies.
