CALL OUT MY NAME

By Ginger McClemons

A POEM THAT SPEAKS WHAT WE ALL ARE THINKING.

::::::::

HERE I AM, IMPRISONED, MY COMPANION THE STENCH OF DEATH.

DYING MEN CALL OUT MY NAME WITH THEIR LAST DYING BREATH.

YET, MY NAME'S BANNED FROM LIPS STILL WET WITH VICIOUS LIES,

IN THE NAME OF FREEDOM HE HAS SAID BUT NAUGHT BUT HIS DISGUISE.

A MONSTER OF REMORESLESS CRUELTY, MY CAPTOR LUSTS FOR BLOOD.

HEART OF STONE, BLIND WITH GREED, WHILE SOLDIERS DIE IN MUD.

TOO MANY YEARS I'VE SUFFERED FROM THE FIERCENESS OF THIS RAGE.

AS THEIR BLOOD RAINS DOWN UPON ME IN THE DARKNESS OF MY CAGE.

SO PRAY FOR ME I BEG OF YOU, PRAY FOR MY DESPERATE RELEASE!

GATHER YOURSELVES, LET YOUR VOICES ROAR! CALL OUT MY NAME,

IT'S PEACE

Authors Bio:
Recently I helped work on a book of fiction that has finally been published. It is called "The Census". It can be found on Amazon by doing a search for The Census by Dane Swank.

The author, Dane Swank, has woven a story that revolves around ordinary people who suddenly find themselves on the run, trying to escape a secret government round up of the population, according to what they have written on their census report.

The government project is still in its infancy when things begin to go horrible wrong. They inadvertently awaken something more horrific than anything they could ever imagine.

This is a paranormal thriller that will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. The surprise ending will have you wondering if, perhaps, it hasn't already begun.
