I Guess, I No Longer Hate Love

By James Bush

On love, hate, and the war.

::::::::

So, here we are Killing each other Again I guess, we hate ourselves I guess, we hate life I guess, we hate love Can't tell the good guys From the bad Anymore Can't tell the right cause From the wrong Anymore I guess, we just hate ourselves Don't think I want to play That one Anymore Don't want to fight For anything Anymore I guess, I'll just stop hating You can hate And curse me If you want to You can call me An infidel If you want to But, I'm not going To hate you Anymore I guess, I'll just try loving You can hate And despise me If you want to You can call me Unpatriotic If you want to But I'm not going To hate them Anymore I guess, I'll try loving them instead You can try to Scare me If you want to You can call me A Coward If you want to But, I'm not Going to be afraid Anymore I guess, I'll try a new kind of courage You can tie me up And throw me down If you want to You can push me up Against a wall If you want to But, you can't Scare me Anymore So, here I am Learning not to kill Again I guess, I no longer hate myself I guess, I no longer hate life I guess, I no longer hate love
