Fury Unleashed: Imus/Sharpton Racial Hypocrisy Hits All-Time High

America may well be closer to an all-out race war than it has been in forty years. The hypocrisy and double standards regarding race and gender have hit all time highs, and the great silent majority may finally be an awakening giant.

Enough is enough.

America cannot continue to prosper, and indeed survive, if it is continually choked by the politically correct garbage increasingly prevalent in every aspect of its society. That type of culture directly leads to an unnatural state of oversensitivity and fear, resulting in citizens being too afraid to stand up and weigh in on the important issues of the day---such as the Don Imus flap--- for fear of being labeled “racist”, “bigot”, or “sexist”. Because these wildly inaccurate, irresponsible and slanderous attacks have not been aggressively countered over the years, they have become a highly successful weapon of the small but unabashedly loudmouthed extreme Left. Innovation and creativity are nearly stifled, and Americans have become so risk-averse that they now resemble their counterparts in Europe---a wholly gutless, cowardly and indecisive continent witnessing its own destruction, with no leader bold enough to right the ship.

The most ironic aspect of this predicament is that America is not falling from outside invasion, but from internal decay and a complete lack of fortitude. In short, we are willfully killing ourselves and the very values on which America was founded. And why? To appease the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world?

Enough is enough.

It is high time we stand united, blow past the scurrilous comments, and expose the frauds for what they truly are---hypocrites and shameless self-promoters who appear only when it is opportunistic for their self-interest.

Several examples:

The Duke lacrosse players (who are White) had all charges against them dropped, charges that were brought about by a Black woman, and summarily exposed to be fraudulent and deceitful. Where are Jackson and Sharpton in this case? Are we to expect a press conference in North Carolina with these men validating the innocence of the Duke players? After all, this was clearly a case where race was involved, as evidenced by both the complainant and the (possibly soon-to-be-disbarred) District Attorney. While the students are now free to move on with their futures, their lives are forever changed, and to a large extent tarnished, by the false accusations against them. Yet even though this case is infinitely more serious than Imus' comments, where is Jackson's moral outrage, especially given the fact that the accuser herself will not be tried. Interestingly, there is also no sign of Sharpton, despite the prevalence of Carolina BBQ. Despicable.

A CBS Corporation Director and former head of the NAACP, Bruce Gordon, called for Imus' firing, stating that “We should have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to what I see as irresponsible, racist behavior.” Gee, Bruce, I was unaware that you were the standard by which all things “irresponsible and racist” should be measured. Well, if that's the case, let's throw in “sexist” too.

So here is what I now expect to see from you, Gordo: an immediate denunciation of all comedians, hip-hop “artists” and rappers who, in their “art”, advocate the killing of police, describe women as “bitches” and “ho's” (in addition to numerous other sexually graphic and depraved depictions), and continue the widespread use of the “N” word. Not to mention the anti-White songs.

Wait, didn't someone else recently use the word “ho” in a joke, albeit an unfunny one?

Based on Bruce's “zero tolerance”, I would certainly expect that none of the radio stations in the CBS Radio Network would ever play music containing such disparaging lyrics.

Except, Bruce, they do. Perhaps in your rant against Imus, you simply overlooked that fact.

Or, perhaps, you don't think that those lyrics should be classified as “racist” or “sexist”. A clarification

from you would be helpful, since CBS Radio is the “largest radio group in the US”, according to your website.

We'll hold our breath, Mr. Gordon.

What about the speakers at the Rutgers University “rally” who said that “anger over Imus' remarks should be channeled into combating racism and sexism”? Or one of the basketball team's student managers who stated “You can't use the word “ho's” anymore. Everyone's like 'I don't want to hear that word.' ”. Or how about the pastor of the team's coach who was going to negotiate “terms of the meeting” between Imus and the team?

Negotiate terms of the meeting? This isn't the Camp David Peace Accords. Have these people completely lost their minds?

Where are all these entities in the fight to end racism, all racism, regardless of the color of the perpetrator? They have the platform to do so, but instead are completely squandering their “fifteen minutes”.

Americans need to grow up, stand up, and be courageous in exposing racist-rattlers like Sharpton and Jackson, and holding influential leaders like Bruce Gordon accountable to be fair, true and accurate in zero tolerance proclamations.

Anything else simply perpetuates racism, and makes us lackeys for the real hypocrites.

Enough is enough.
