Why a US bill must be written stating there were never statutes of limitations and there never will be for crimes as horrendous as pedophilia.

If for one moment anyone could have thought this hard working citizen were a pedophile, he would have been caught much earlier. Worse is, what if this molester was so violent with this child, the child did not survive? This is reality. Most of the missing children under the age of 13 that have been missing for over 3 months statistically, either died at the hands or are still under control of these molesters. Read this: If this child were not found, this child would have never gone to his family until most likely at age 40 years old or older. Most people do not understand this and the effects of trauma, especially in children. What happens? This child's memory and the threats imposed at a very young age becomes the conscious environment where this child's mind develops. Remember, a child does not deal with life as an adult would; the child's mind is still developing. In effect, his mind would have blocked out each traumatic episode and any memories connected to it, a disconnection until much later in life. You see, as this child becomes older his mind may start to wander, though only on rare occasions, and touch on these memories. He will, at that instant, acknowledge the possibility of a real family having been in his life. However that acknowledgement of his real family happens for only a fractional instant. At that very moment, without any control on his part, his mind will dismiss it. It does this to preserve sanity. How could you deal with something so traumatic and confusing? This is a protective mechanism we all have. Later in life, this child would most likely lived a complete life of chaos. (Some become lawless, an alcoholic or drug addicts. Some commit suicide, and others simply find other ways to completely destroy their lives, well into their 50's and 60's.These victims can be the best pretenders of happiness.) Imagine waking up one day to realize your completely destroyed life while others prospered with families, happiness and careers. How could you deal with now knowing this? Meanwhile his rapists would continue finding and traumatizing more children with each one never coming to terms with what happened to them until it is too late. They average 80 children victims. You asked why this 15 year old didn't seek help? You think you would have been different? Try this one out; How about the passengers in one of the 911 flights? Why didn't they do anything? They were adults and they could even act together? Now consider this lone small child, not only traumatized, but now threatened from telling anyone. This child had to carry this secret alone. Understand what is said, ALONE. A small child undergoing this kind of trauma lives their entire life still inside the passenger plane of a 911 flight, the plane never crashed and never landed. You see, this child's mind never was able to develop properly to deal with the experience, so his mind developed around the trauma. This is what happens, the resources each one of you has to pull from were never developed in these victims, and instead reasoning is replaced by internal rages of emotions they can neither control nor understand. There are so many children and now adults, who have lost lives, many of their molesters can be unquestionably identified. Remember, a pedophile averages 80 victims. Not so difficult proving the truth, is it? We all can do something about this. We must demand a bill be written stating that there have never been statutes of limitations for crimes this horrendous, and there never will be. Help us find resolution to the many missing children from the past. Right now pedophiles of crimes from long ago have no fear. They have no fear because laws protect them. We can change this. If we can now arrest and convict, some will talk, and at that moment, justice to many families of suicide victims and the missing will be served, Imagine if your son, daughter, brother or sister were missing from long ago? Please act as if it were you. Finally, we always look at child molesters and try to make them look different. We say, look, he is fat, has a scruffy beard, or however we can to make them look uniquely different. The reality is, they look the same as anyone on the street would. Instead, try putting some reality around this; look at this molester and mentally give him a clean shave, place a priest's collar and cloths on him. Make him a gym teacher; even make him look like a bishop. Until you can do this, you will never face the truth. If you never face this truth; You are prolonging the time when families and victims will ever find justice. You are prolonging the suffering of the many victims. You have successfully helped the child molesters, just as they want you to. You have just said the hell with the families and victims. Please, put some reality into this and have compassion for the many lost lives, demand a bill as stated above. Important note: If you know of an incident no matter how long ago it happened, please do not go to the family, if the victim is still alive. Go to the victim directly. Some families will preserve their social or religious status and ignore the suffering of their own families believe it or not. Going to the victim is the greatest gift you can give to them. Haven't they suffered enough? You could never imagine the happiness you would bring them. Even if you collected a settlement yourself, you can not lose by exposing the criminals and they can never get their money back by law. The smallest incident at least helps with the validation of much larger ones.
