My Fight Against Cancer and Fight to Break the Silence, Exposing the Industrial Murder for Profit

Cancer is expected to kill me in a year, and more medicine may add a few years, even though other medications already failed. I asked myself the big question. What should I do with the rest of my short life? My answer is that I am writing three books to save lives from preventable industrial disasters. My fights rage onward.

Cancer is expected to kill me in a year, and more medicine may, or may not, add some time to my life even though other medications already failed.
My oncologist asked how I was doing, and I said "Okay" She said "No, how are you really doing". I said "I have cancer. Cancer is killing me. [To heck with] it". She laughed.
Cancer
I had two skin cancer surgeries, half of my liver removed without narcotic pain killers. one liver cancer evaporated with microwaves, and a heart stent. I was also hospitalized three times due to related illness, which cut my weight to 115 pounds from 190 pounds - a pretty good diet plan!
So far, Chemo and other aggressive drugs failed. However, those drugs crippled my foot and partially paralyzed my fingers and mouth.
I have incurable cancer in my liver, esophagus, and spine, along with myriad lymph node cancers throughout my gut and chest. I have so many cancers that a standard electrocardiogram (ultrasound) cannot detect my heart.
I now walk with a cane since I kept falling down. Sometimes I also pass out. I hate weakness - one more fight.
My Past and Future
My life has been extraordinary. Walked across mountain tops. Drag raced. Skydived. Scuba dove. Climbed thousand / foot frozen waterfalls. Sailed through forty-foot storm waves in a seventy-foot boat near Antarctica. Earned master's and doctor's degrees and wrote engineering books. Along the way, I made amends for past wrongs.
I have asked myself the big question. What should I do with the rest of my short life? My answer is that I am writing three books to save lives from preventable industrial disasters. Those books are:
1. "Breaking the Silence, Exposing the Industrial Murder for Profit", Cambridge Book Publishing;
2. ''The Water Hammer and Gas Hammer Disaster", American Society of Mechanical Engineers;
3. "Failure Analysis and Explosion Modeling for Water Hammers and Gas Hammers."
The first two books are already contracted and planned for publication in 2026, and a contract is promised for the 2027 third book.
I am scheduled to speak as an invited speaker about these books at the Frankfurt, Germany book convention with potentially more than 120,000 visitors in October. I also go to Japan in July to present new research for gas pipeline explosions and take a combustion course at Princeton in June.
My Fight Against Cancer
My oncologist told me that I am unique in that the rest of her patients go home and just wait for the next treatment. I refuse to let cancer dictate my life.
I flew to England in March to watch explosions at an air force base and flew to Thailand to publish a paper on infectious disease for a medical conference. While in England, Janet, my wife, and I also went to the Cavern Club where the Beatles started out.et
I lived by Chumbawamba's song lyrics before they wrote them. "I get knocked down. But I get up again. You're never gonna keep me down."
Writing is very much harder since I cannot feel my fingers. I get knocked down. But I get up again. You're never gonna keep me down.
My fights rage onward.

I accuse you of past and future murder through indifference, incompetence and lies in a new book, titled "Break The Silence, Exposing The Industrial Murder For Profit" by Robert A. Leishear. This book proves your crimes against all of us. Together, your actions wreak the following unnecessary death and destruction.
Every one of these disasters can be stopped! Your choices to execute these murders and destruction are your responsibility and guilt.

When first published, every one of the above accusations was forwarded to the guilty organizations.Their documented responses were universal. Silence - they all refused to address, or even answer, legitimate safety concerns to stop loss of life.

Leishear, PhD, P.E., PMP, ASME Fellow, Who's Who in America Top Engineer, Who's Who Millennium Magazine cover story, NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist, NACE Senior Internal Piping Corrosion Technologist, ANSYS Expert, AMPP Certified Protective Coatings Inspector, NACE Cathodic Protection Tester, Structural Steel Worker, Welder, Carpenter, and Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic, is a Consulting Engineer for Leishear Engineering, LLC, and worked as a Lead Research Engineer (Principal Researcher) for the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Savannah River National Laboratory (IQ = 161). He has also worked as a design engineer, test engineer, and plant engineer in nuclear waste facilities and nuclear fuel reprocessing facilities. Additionally, Dr. Leishear worked as a lead electronic packaging design engineer for military aircraft and missile systems. He was appointed as an ASME Fellow for his research on water hammers, which are directly applicable to industrial explosions. Dr. Leishear earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and at the University of South Carolina, he earned M.S. and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering, and also earned a Master of Engineering degree in Nuclear Engineering. For these degrees he studied, fracture mechanics, water hammer, fluid mechanics, mass transfer, gas dynamics, materials science, fatigue cracking, advanced thermodynamics, reactor thermal hydraulics, risk analysis, engineering law, reactor design, reactor physics, radiation shielding, reactor materials science, nuclear fuel cycles, reactor water chemistry, nuclear material safeguards, finite element analysis, structural vibrations, machinery vibrations, HVAC design, combustion, explosions, and structural analysis. Prior to his academic education, Bob Leishear earned his indenture papers through a four-year sheet metal apprenticeship, and he attended six months of training to learn to weld, build steel plate construction, and cut steel with an acetylene torch.
