Did you encounter problems in the polling place today? Let us know. Please post your report on our website, the "Illinois Election-Problems Clearinghouse," http://ballot-integrity.org/blog Your report will become a valuable contribution to the public record. When you post your report, it will be immediately published on the Internet, for access by all members of the public. No other service like this exists for the Chicago metropolitan area. If you want to ensure that your personal report gets published, this is the place! We are seeking reports on any and all types of problems, from shortage of pens, to paper jams, to non-functional equipment, to improper behavior by voters or other participants. It's easy to check out the latest reports and to submit your own. Visit and see! We're at http://ballot-integrity.org/blog Public "Clearinghouse" for Chicago, Cook County Election Problems [Press release. Please Forward.] An Internet website has been launched to serve as a public "clearinghouse" for citizens' reports of election problems in Chicago and Cook County. Citizens can upload their first-hand reports and see them published immediately on the website. The website is at http://ballot-integrity.org/blog For urgent problems, the website will guide citizens to the appropriate hotline, staffed by human operators. The website invites reports of all problems, including those encountered during early voting and absentee voting. Directions for publishing audio and video records of problems are also provided. Recommendations for enhancing the site and its information are welcome. The blog is the creation of the Illinois Ballot Integrity Project, a not-for-profit, non-partisan civic organization dedicated to the correction of election system deficiencies and to ensuring fair, accurate, and completely transparent elections.
