he'd run like the wildest river
from a Juvie camp to be free
run relentless, hot like a fever
and reached the cool mothering sea
.
a sudden realization lights his face:
nowhere to run, the lapping irony,
he'll disappear without a trace;
turns, FIN, to the camera, and looks at me.
