Justification for lockdown crumbles. Lockdown continues to tighten.

The narrative about the pandemic that justified shutting down the world's culture and politcs and economic activity has come unglued. Everywhere, there are articles that show that the virus has run its course, as every other virus has done in winters past. Not only that, official reports emerging in Norway and Germany show that this is not becuase of lockdown, but despit lockdown.

These draconian, repressive government rules have not saved lives, but they have caused enormous disruption and suffering. The practices of this spring have kept us isolated from one another at a time when we need to be talking and organizing, meditating and praying, gathering in person to feel our connections.
