One wonders if an ad by some old-time rank & file conservative Republicans just may do the trick. Will it bend the indoctrination curve?

Republicans for the Rule of Law wrote the following on the ad titled "Why Did President Trump Lie About the COVID-19 Crisis?" The first responsibility of government is, as the Constitution says, "to provide for the common defense." President Trump has now rightly compared the coronavirus pandemic to a war. But he was still minimizing the threat as recently as three days ago. In a crisis, there are three rules that must be followed when communicating with the public: Be first. Be right. Be credible. President Trump has often been first but he has seldom been right and he has never been credible. In early February, 72% of Republicans agreed that coronavirus was a serious threat. Today, that number is 40%. President Trump bears responsibility misleading his supporters. Accurate and timely information is America's most potent defense against the pandemic we now face. The 60% of Republicans who have been misled by the president's self-serving coronavirus lies are our families, our friends, and our neighbors. We urge them, and all Americans, to get their coronavirus information from the CDC and other reliable sources. This isn't about politics. It's about saving hundreds of thousands of American lives. Who is Republicans for the Rule of Law Republicans for the Rule of Law is the principal 2019 initiative of the conservative political group Defending Democracy Together, founded by Bill Kristol, Mona Charen, Linda Chavez, Sarah Longwell, and Andy Zwick. The project created a media campaign to demand more information from Republican Senators during the impeachment of Donald Trump. As the movement to impeach President Trump got underway, the group spent over $1 million running television advertisements on Fox and MSNBC, calling on Republicans to "demand the facts" about Mr. Trump and Ukraine.

Egberto is an ardent Liberal that believes tolerance is essential. His favorite phrase is "political involvement should be a requirement for citizenship". He believes that we must get away from the current policies that reward those who simply move money/capital and produce nothing tangible for our society. If a change in policy does not occur, America will be no different than many oligarchic societies where a few are able to accumulate wealth while the rest are left out because it is mathematically impossible to catch up.
