Damn. WTF? Fooled Again.
By shad williams
The time for holding elected officials' feet to the fire, and primarying their sorry ass if they think money and election fraud is going to save them, is way past overdue. I called a representative two days ago and complained after 2 1/2 minutes on hold, that the Representative did not have an email address on their website. The staffer said that he could not find an email address. When I started to complain again, he hungup

In my opinion, it is absolutely intolerable that the US has a stupefying $618,000,000,000 obscene budget allocation when the needs of the people, which it does not represent is so great.
Furthermore it is also intolerable to hear that the US has troops on the ground in Syria and apparently has for some time without authorization of the US Congress.
It is also intolerable that this government has decided to escalate tensions between China and the US by placing anti missile systems in South Korea.
I want representatives that reject this sort of war mongering by the US government. I want representatives that do not casually vote yes on these absurd military budgets and support the funding of US military bases around the world.
I expect my representatives to take an extreme legislation stance in opposition to the activities above including picking, holding news conferences and anything else to draw attention to these disturbing and illegal activities.
I had heard somewhere that Massachusetts was the most liberal state in the union. So I thought that I would start by reading up on the Massachusetts Delegation to the US Congress, starting with Elizabeth Warren. This what I found at https://www.warren.senate.gov/?p=press_release&id=1464

Washington, D.C. - Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) and Congressman Joseph Kennedy III (D-Mass.) today announced that the House and Senate Appropriations committees have included two additional set orders and awarded an additional $114 million [$114,000,000] emphasis and italics added., for General Dynamics' Warfighter Information Network-Tactical program (WIN-T) in their final version of the fiscal 2017 defense appropriations bill. WIN-T, which is produced at the General Dynamics facility in Taunton, improves the Army's communications systems and provides soldiers with mobile, enhanced and secure information-sharing capabilities on the battlefield. The House is scheduled to vote on the bill next week.
"It's important that our service members continue to benefit from improvements in communications technology that make a real difference on the ground," said Senator Warren. "This additional funding for the WIN-T program highlights the innovative work happening in Taunton that directly prepares our men and women in uniform to meet current and future threats."
"We demand that our soldiers execute on the battlefield, so we owe them every advantage possible," Senator Markey said. "WIN-T ensures their communications are reliable, ready, and secure so that they can focus at the mission at hand. I thank the Appropriations Committee for recognizing how crucial this program is to our soldiers and the Massachusetts workers who support their communications."
"With this technology developed in our Commonwealth, soldiers have access to innovative equipment that will keep them safe in times of war and peace. This is not only an investment in our community, but also additional support for a proven communications system that has deployed with the Army across the globe," said Congressman Kennedy.
If the Warren wing of the Democratic Party is going to fold to the military despots that have blood sucking straws stuck in the veins of a peaceful American future, what hope is there for this ship to stop taking on water? Warren's endorsement of Hillary does not seem so contrary at this point.
Chris Hedges is right, the ruling elites don't fear the people, and therefore their tools do not as well.
So are those left wing-neocon-policy-supporting-politicians waiting to see if voters got their back before growing spines? Or is the power of the Military Industrial Complex so powerful that the good is only as good as the driven slush? We had better get busy, 'cause if the most liberal state in the US is in the pocket of the MIC, we are in deep, deep poo poo.
One cannot get away from the clutches of the Man.
