Saving the Humanity

By Muhammad Irfan

This article describes that global peace is the alternative to the exploitation, oppression, death and destruction in the world.

::::::::

The peace remained as the prime agenda of humanity since its establishment on the earth. Naturally, the more human is oppressed, the greater efforts for peace, he or she will render. That is why the quest for peace appears as more aggrandized when the modern civilization is considered as the notion of the peace, prosperity and stability in the world. In the said modern era, the oppression of humanity and exploitation of weaker at the hands of the stronger is the sad fact of the modern civilization.

Although the death and destruction to the humanity remained extreme in the past, yet this death and destruction seem momentum and is multiplied in the ongoing phase of human history. Remarkably, the contemporary exploitation of weaker states at the hands of the stronger powers is the exacerbation to the death and destruction. That is why it is lucid to maintain that humanity needs more peaceful world as its oppression has multiplied. Given the saga of the human death and destruction, oppression and exploitation, the ww1, ww2, the cold war and the contemporary wars and conflicts are the worst examples that humanity has ever seen.

On the parallel hand, the exploitation and oppression have taken the form of the international institutions and have become more complicated and systematic. This systematic and oppressive institutionalization has played a negative role in derailing humanity from the stable pathways. Thus, the misery of the humanity is worth-seeing in the various regions of the world. Contemporarily, the world has taken the shape of the modern village. Therefore, the affliction in one part of the world is affecting the rest. Definitely, when one part is bleeding, it will have negative impact on the remaining parts of the world. When the Middle East, Africa, the Caucasian, the South Asia and the East Asia are suffering the systematic exploitation, the wars and conflicts, the prosperous parts of western world; Europe and the northern America are also prone to the ramifications of the said troubles in the aforesaid parts of the world. Certainly, this is the reason behind why New York, Paris and Berlin etc suffered in the most recent time. That is why it is rational to maintain that humanity is suffering globally, which needs global phenomenon of the solution.

This solution is ultimately the global peace. Given the absolution of the death, destruction, exploitation, oppression and instability, the great powers are destined to play an extreme role. In fact, during the cold-war era, the great powers have prospered the international order on one hand and formulated the doctrines of dominating the world on the other. These formulations of the dominative doctrines are an illustration of the exploitative international order, the great powers asserted to undergo.

Significantly, the great powers are the actor of the current international order. Therefore, the policies and theories developed by these great powers indicate a crucial role to be played by the powers for the sake of the global stability and instability. Similarly, the examination of these theories and doctrines is relevant in the academic researches. Unfortunately, this examination proves the negative result; the actors of the international order have produced, causing enormously to the global instability. Therefore, the robust efforts are needed to bring stability in the world. The global peace is an exact alternative to the realistic international order.
