No Tax Returns (and Possibly NO DEBATES): Will The Cowardice And Insecurities Of Trump Cost America?

By Rev. Dan Vojir

Obviously, Donald Trump's bloviating, his bravado, his bullying show signs of a psychotic and insecure nature.

He'll never come out. Never.

As the saying goes:

he must be compensating for something.

Years ago, when I lived in San Francisco's dangerous Bayview district, there was (and still is, I think) a biker bar called "The Cobra Club." Patrons would openly drink outside the bar (since they were considered a snitch source for the police about the drug activity, they got away with it). That didn't bother the neighborhood. What did bother the neighborhood was their driving their bikes at full enervating power up and down 3rd Street at 2;30 in the morning, making sure that no one was awake within a mile's radius.

VVRROOM! VVRROOM! VVRROOM!

They were obviously compensating for something.

I called them "the little dicks."

The bullying, brash, bloviating rantings of Donald Trump is like an army of loud motorcycles screaming for attention and one can only take it as compensating for something. Senseless attacks on a Gold Star family* also add to the crass facade.

No Tax Returns

The "under audit" crap makes Trump look the fool. He always has, but this time, he looks to be the cowardly fool. Of course, he will continue to hold his head up high, henceforth making himself look even more ridiculous.

Granted, transparency was never Trump's strong suit, but in this case, it makes you wonder not only WHAT he is hiding, but WHY he is hiding it? Any refusal to reveal finances sends a red flag to voters - all voters. Romney found that out.

To a narcissist like Trump, fear of anything is major because it means weakness. And Donald Trump's chief strength has always been his fabrication of numbers making it possibly the biggest individual numbers "racket" in recent history (pun intended).

And the numbers will crumble:

If he didn't give as much to charity as he said he has.

If he has higher debts than he has let on (he's never talked about ANY debts and brushes off his corporate bankruptcies).

If his personal finances and equity do not even begin to approach his boasted $10 billion.

If the liens against his properties (estimated to be over 400) reveal his unwillingness to pay small contractors anything.

If there are failed businesses hiding in the returns.

If he has, in fact, paid no taxes - as was once stated "only little people pay taxes"

The fraud and humbug revealed in the returns could be a massive thumbing of the nose to his electorate. After all, some of them actually TRUST him to tell them the truth (!?!)

Will Trump EVER release his tax returns? The resounding answer is: no. Reason: he's scared sh*tless to do so. Everything will crumble, especially his image.

No Debates

The rumblings of Trump pulling out of the Presidential Debates have already started.

The first indication: he doesn't intend to debate Hillary

"They're Rigged! It's useless!"

And while some people think Trump might still go through with the debates, those who do know that Hillary will best him hands down. Could he withstand the humiliation?

Rawstory

A study released in 2015 revealed something about braggart men who lie, a confirmation of something that many women have intuited. Men lie when they feel that their masculinity has been questioned or they fear that they do not measure up to other men. It turns out that the joke about men driving expensive sports cars to compensate for other shortcomings is true.

In the case of Donald Trump, who seems to react most angrily to taunts about being the short-fingered vulgarian, Donald Trump the man is afraid that he's just not man enough to measure up to other men. Spy magazine exploited Trump's weakness for years, and they did so by diminishing Trump. They made fun of the size of his fingers, a taunt that was picked up during the 2016 campaign, and which led to the moment when Trump declared during a presidential debate that he had a big dick.

The Cost Of Willie Loman

NYT Interview:

HABERMAN: What do you think people will take away from this convention? What are you hoping?
TRUMP: From the convention? The fact that I'm very well liked.

John McQuaid of Forbes, has come up with a brilliant assessment of Trump's insecurity (Nomination Of A Salesman: Donald Trump's Odd And Dangerous Personal Insecurities):

You know who else wanted to be well liked? No, I don't mean that guy. Trump is inadvertently channeling Willy Loman, the protagonist of "Death of a Salesman."
The phrase appears nine times in the Arthur Miller play. "He's liked, but he's not well liked," Willy observes of his more successful neighbor Charley.

The POTUS can not afford to be insecure about anything. Say what you will about Obama, insecurity was never evident when at the helm of the country. But insecurity in Trump as evident as a revved up motorcycle club.
