The Gemini New Moon occurs on Tuesday, June 16th. A new Moon is the time to plant a seed of an intention and in Gemini, it has to do with how we use our minds. We've been told our thoughts create our reality but even more true is that our beliefs create our thoughts and therefore reality. It all begins in the imagination! The Summer Solstice is also this week--time is flying by.

The Gemini New Moon occurs on Tuesday, June 16^th. A new Moon is the time to plant a seed of an intention and in Gemini, it has to do with how we use our minds.

We've been told our thoughts create our reality but even more true is that our beliefs create our thoughts and therefore reality. It all begins in the imagination!

After the Sagittarius Full Moon two weeks ago, we have to decide what we believe about life and the world. We are at a critical stage of human evolution, and we are being tested to see if we will take responsibility for our world. If you believe in the power of the imagination to create a paradise here on Earth, then you have to do your part in creating it by thinking with both sides of your brain.

The Gemini split is between the immortal and mortal twins, between right-brain imagination and left-brain rationality, between knowledge and information. If you're too rational, you'll get stuck in 'reality'. If you're too enmeshed in the unconscious world of feelings to articulate what you know, you get stuck in 'delusion'. The trick is to combine both. We have to learn to articulate what the unconscious is telling us, not stomp on it with demands for facts and figures. We have to learn to say things are 'this and that' rather than 'this or that'. When we can hold the tension of opposites within our minds, we will find the right answers.

Gemini deals with communication, travel, business, news, teaching and learning. Its ruler, Mercury, just resumed its forward motion, so whatever has been cooking in the unconscious wants to come out and play now. How can you communicate better? Who do you do business with? What do you need to learn or teach?

We've just come out of an interesting Mercury retrograde, just as full of organization as chaos, discovery as well as loss, technological breakthroughs as well as techie breakdowns. With Mercury in his own sign of Gemini along with the Sun and Mars, those of us with a strong Mercury or Gemini influence probably fe el it the most. But everyone has Mercury and Gemini in their charts, so everyone is affected in some way.

Mars in Gemini adds the imperative to get moving and do something! Mars is the archetypal warrior as well as representing male energies of assertion and aggression, anger and courage, action and grappling. Our warrior nature doesn't have to look for someone or something to kill. We can be warriors by just standing up for what is right, by speaking the truth and by being more creative in the way we do business. Mars adds intense energy to this New Moon. However, Mars in Gemini has a tendency to scatter energy on too many projects, so make an intention to be focused!

Mercury stationed direct at 5* Gemini on Thursday June 11 ^th at 3:33 pm PDT. What did you re-discover about yourself these past three weeks? What did you need to re-do? The Sabian symbol for Mercury at 5* Gemini is: A revolutionary magazine asking for action. We've gotten the message. The revolution is here and now. What will be our part in re-birthing the world? We are the awakened ones, which means we are the ones who need to help transform the world. Are you up for it?

Dreamy, compassionate, mystical Neptune turned retrograde on Friday, June 12 ^th until November 18 ^th . This is a subtle energy which needs silence and a quiet mind to access. This retrograde back through the early degrees of Pisces is a perfect time to turn within and access the inner wisdom available to us all if we listen. Neptune turns retrograde at 10* Pisces: An aviator pursues his journey, flying through ground-obscuring cloulds. Once again, we're advised to close our eyes to what's happening in the outer world and trust our internal navigation system. It's time to trust our instincts, our intuition and our feelings. Don't get caught up in worries about money, security and safety. It's time to put your trust in your Higher Self and act accordingly.

On June 14 ^th , Saturn retrogrades from fiery Sagittarius back into watery Scorpio for a few more months of emotional cleansing and healing. Whatever resentments, negative feelings or sorrows you're still holding onto, let them go! They were there to teach you about yourself. Now you don't have to carry them further. Unless you don't want to learn the lesson.

The Gemini New Moon falls on Tuesday June 16 ^th . The Sabian symbol for both the Sun and the Moon at 26* Gemini is: Frost-covered trees against winter skies. These are the archetypal forms of life, which are most evident in Winter and in the desert. We see the bones; we get down to the eternal essence of things. So we're called to plant an intention that asks for the essential journey, idea or thought form that holds our destiny. If you believe that you have a unique destiny, then asking for the essential Idea will start you on your way. Just have faith in yourself.

June 20 ^th is Summer Solstice, the sacred marriage of Heaven and Earth, when the Sun King marries Mother Earth. The northern hemisphere gets the most daylight hours now and the Earth is fertile and growing more abundant every day. Gardens are blossoming and offering us the first taste of their delights. (and to those of you down under--Happy Winter Solstice!)

With the Moon in Leo along with Venus and Jupiter, this is going to be a great weekend to celebrate with art, music, theater and sacred ceremony. My sister priestesses and I are leading a Solstice ritual where we'll be renewing the energies of the Divine Feminine's holy Grail of life-giving waters as well as renewing and re-forging the Divine Masculine's Sun Sword of Light, Truth and Justice. Once they are made anew, our dear friends M & R will be handfasted, really helping to ground in this sacred energy for all of us. Tune into the energies on Solstice and make them your own!

On Monday, June 22 ^nd , Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries trine each other for the third and last time, really juicing up the creative fires we've been fanning since the ir first trine last September 25, 2014. A trine is an aspect of creativity, self-confidence and good luck, but you have to make the effort to access it. With both these energizing planets in fire signs, our job is to focus the energies into something creative. I'll be driving back East from Las Vegas that day, so I probably have to watch out for speeding! But I'll be happy and energized!
