You Gotta Kill 'Em

By Kathy Malloy

From the murdered children, depleted uranium munitions, carpet bombs designed to look like humanitarian aid packages, funding of warlords, the rapes, looting, the mass deception ... all this is Obama's fault? Bush took no responsibility for the foreign policy nightmare that he created, then chastised Obama for failing to stop the chaos in Iraq and spread of terrorism in the region.

Where to begin tonight, Truthseekers? The marriage equality arguments that begin before the Supreme Court tomorrow? The riots in Baltimore following today's funeral service for Freddie Gray? Or maybe the outrageous speech George W. Bush gave to a group of wealthy Jewish donors behind closed doors at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas with owner Sheldon Adelson?

Yeah, let's go there. Raisin Brain delighted the assembled Republican Jewish Coalition with his blatant Obama bashing on -- wait for it -- Obama's failed Mideast policy. According to an attendee who claims to have secretly transcribed Dim Son's remarks, Bush criticized Obama's "retreat around the world" and his failure to stop the "chaos" in Iraq.

Uh ... is anybody else having a WTF??? moment?

Bush blasted Obama's "failure" to negotiate a new status of forces agreement to keep U.S. troops in Iraq beyond 2011, intimating that his team had stopped terrorism in the region, whereas the Islamic State has flourished under Obama. As Bloomberg reports:

"[Bush] defended his own administration's handling of terrorism, noting that the terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who confessed to killing Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, was captured on his watch: 'Just remember the guy who slit Danny Pearl's throat is in Gitmo, and now they're doing it on TV.'

"Obama promised to degrade and destroy Islamic State's forces but then didn't develop a strategy to complete the mission, Bush said. He said that if you have a military goal and you mean it, 'you call in your military and say 'What's your plan?' He indirectly touted his own decision to surge troops to Iraq in 2007, by saying, 'When the plan wasn't working in Iraq, we changed.'

"'In order to be an effective president ... when you say something you have to mean it,' he said. 'You gotta kill em.'"

You gotta kill 'em. Well Dubya, you sure knew how to do that. And Too-Stupid-to-Chew-a-Pretzel stands there with no irony and smirks about the necessary strategy to complete a mission. He of the inane "Mission Accomplished" aircraft carrier/bloated codpiece speech. Of Rumsfeld's "90 day" prediction of "victory" in Iraq. Of Colin Powell's total BS speech to the UNSC about stockpiles of WMDs hidden in groves of palm trees, and yellow cake uranium. Condoleeza's aluminum tubes, Ari Fleisher's mushroom clouds and Dick Cheney's sarin gas.

The Bush Crime Family lied us into a war in Iraq that cost billions of taxpayer dollars, tens of thousands of human lives, created thousands of maimed and traumatized US soldiers, and destroyed any vestiges of our American reputation as fighters for freedom and liberty.

And Bush blames Obama for the rise of ISIS/ISIL? Bush and his minions were recruiting posters for generations of Muslims in the region. From the demolition of ancient Iraqi artifacts and architecture to the waterboarding and torture of innocent civilians to the lies about the reason we invaded in the first place, to the flesh-melting white phosphorous, to the murdered children, depleted uranium munitions, carpet bombs designed to look like humanitarian aid packages, the funding of warlords, the rapes, the looting, the mass deception ... all this is Obama's fault?

Bullshit. Pure Bullshit. Again.

And we are supposed to praise Man-or-Monkey for his capture of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed? He was waterboarded, what, 150 times?? Of course he confessed to the Daniel Perle murder. He probably would've confessed to assassinating Abe Lincoln at that point. Guess Chucklenuts is still sore that he didn't get bin Laden. Dang it, Obama was the dude who got to "kill 'em." No fair.

The entire scenario sounds surreal. Bush took no responsibility for the foreign policy nightmare that he created, then chastised Obama for failing to stop the chaos in Iraq and spread of terrorism in the region. Kinda like when Joan Crawford beat the hell out of adopted daughter Christina with a can of Bon Ami, then looked around at the clouds of white powder settling all over the dressing room furniture, floor, and mirrors and then ordered her to "clean up your mess." Clearly, Bush is still crazy after all these years.

It makes you wonder if, now that he's no longer in office, he is still hearing messages from God telling him where to invade next? Has the Almighty stopped issuing his death messages now that Dubya no longer has the launch codes? And if not ... Hmmmmnnnnnn.

Perhaps the best example of Bush's grand delusions came in his description of his interactions with Vlad Putin. Bloomberg continues:

"Bush recalled that Putin met his dog Barney at the White House and then later, when Bush went to Moscow, Putin showed him his dog and remarked that he was 'bigger stronger and faster than Barney.' For Bush, that behavior showed him that Putin didn't think in 'win-win' terms."

OMG. From Putin's joke that his dog was bigger and stronger than Barney, Bush extrapolated the totality of Putin's foreign policy philosophy. Call it, "everything I learned about US-Russian relations I learned from my dog."

Bush also schmoozed a bit about his brother Jeb's Oval Office ambitions, warning that he might be a political liability. No ... really? But, but ... Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Danny Pearl?!?

Barbara Bush is like a modern Ma Barker, birthing her own beastly brood of criminal psychopaths. But I digress ...

When brother Jeb hits the campaign trail, let's hope the American people remember that famous saying in West Texas, the one Dubya liked to quote: "There's a sayin' in West Texas ... fool me once, shame on, shame on you .... fool me, won't get fooled again..."

Authors Bio:
Kathy never expected a career in radio as a talk show producer. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy was completing her nursing degree when in 2001 - in an emergency - she was asked to fill in as the producer of Mike's program. Within a few weeks she knew she'd found more than a temporary job. Since that beginning, Kathy has steadily grown more comfortable behind the control console, editing, engineering, and assisting in topic selection for the program while also retaining a fairly sizeable chunk of her sanity. Oh, and did we mention the utter (joyful) chaos of raising a daughter who, for some odd reason, only stops talking when she's asleep. Strange, that.

A life-long "talk radio junkie," Kathy takes her job with all the seriousness required, and thoroughly enjoys producing a talk show that's intelligent, factual, informative, and most of all entertaining. She takes great pride in -- and has great fun with -- the two biggest joys in her life: Their daughter Molly, and producing one of the most dynamic talk programs in radio.
