Have you been feeling the energy? The Heavens are shape-shifting: the 7th, final square between Uranus & Pluto on Monday, Saturn retrograde last Saturday, a solar eclipse new Moon at the very last degree of the zodiac next Friday as well as the Equinoxes--Spring and Autumn. The cosmic energy wants to bring forth something new. Leave flat-earth ideas behind and step into the quantum field! We need a new story.
Pisces Solar Eclipse New Moon, March 20, 2015
The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces occurs on March 20th at 2:36am PDT/ 5:36am EDT/9:36am GMT. It will be seen in the northern latitudes in Europe and Asia.
The Sabian Symbol for the last degree of the zodiac, 30* Pisces is:
A Majestic rock formation resembling a face is idealized by a boy who takes it as his ideal of greatness, and as he grows up, begins to look like it. This image indicates the very real power of clearly visualized ideals to mold the life of the visualizer.
By continually pouring our emotions and will into the visualized image, we engage in co-creation. The Quantum Field. The Collective Unconscious. The basic formula of Life itself. This is the imaginal consciousness that gives us the potential to access the archetypal world; the test is to be strong enough to let these cosmic laws of life work through us.
Coming days after the 7th Pluto/Uranus square on March 16th and hours before the Spring Equinox, which is the astrological beginning of the year, this solar eclipse New Moon occurs at the very last degree of Pisces and so of the entire zodiac. It is an ending as well as a new beginning.
It feels like this is the end of the Piscean Age. Perhaps it offers us a choice--embody and incarnate the spiritual lessons of the Piscean Age or fall into the delusions that age fostered. Either we step up into our responsibility to the world to create a new vision, or we step back and retreat into the collective delusion of patriarchy.
This might be the only solar eclipse at 30* Pisces in over 5000 years (2000 BCE -- 3000 CE). I've checked out NASA's site on total eclipses in March (http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/solar.html) and I can't find another one. If someone else can find out, please let me know.
If it is the only solar eclipse at 30* Pisces, this is another indication that we are really at the ending of a big cycle. We are indeed embarking on a mysterious journey into the unknown. The past 5000 years have seen the rise to power of Patriarchy, a form of society that places the highest value on the rule of Men and which degrades the value of Women and the Divine Feminine powers of life. As we can see all around the world, we are at the tipping point of women's equality with men. It's coming in the outer world, and the inner patriarch in men and women will be dying out as women reclaim our own ways of being and doing, as well as our unique feminine gifts and talents. Once men see who we truly are, their own feminine side blossoms as well.
Pisces is the sign that symbolizes the collective unconscious, the place of endings where our ego consciousness dissolves back into the Ocean of Being. It is the energy of opening to the Divine Presence; the energy of surrender to the flow of life, the energy of trust and faith in Life.
The sign of Pisces has two fish, swimming in opposite directions. One fish symbolizes delusion and illusion, the fantasies the ego generates about its own desires. The other is mystical awareness and communion with the Anima Mundi, our World Soul. This is our choice now. Which fish will we swim with? This is such a moment of grace! Like the ancients and aboriginals, we can learn to be at one with Mother Earth as well as living our soul's destiny in this time of great change.
It was prophesized that there appeared in the heavens, A Woman clothed with the Sun, standing on the Moon, crowned with the Stars, in labor, giving birth to the Savior. We all saw this image in the heavens back in 1969, when we saw pictures of our Mother Earth, floating in the heavens, rising above the Moon, surrounded by the starry heavens. This Cosmic Woman heralds the change, the rebirth we have to undergo to become conscious stewards of this magical and blessed garden that is our Earth.
At 30* Pisces, we are called to acknowledge the energies of the Collective Unconscious, the energetic field that holds our collective hopes and dreams as well as our emotional disappointment and sorrow over what we've done to each other and what we've done to the Earth. We all long for love, for peace, for creativity, for family and community, talents and disciplines that make us whole human beings. Unfortunately, our society's leaders do not listen to what the people want--or at least not real people. We're finally waking up to the fact that the ideas and paradigms running our world no longer fit our needs; in fact, they reject our vision and our needs.
So it is time for each of us to take responsibility for the story of our lives. The old story that is passing away is the story that taught us that we needed to be free. The new story is about what we plan to do with our freedom. It begins within your own psyche. Are you in or are you out?
Can you open up your crown chakra to Spirit and listen to the original story of your soul? Can you let your inner guidance help you create your new life? Can you free yourself from the fear and insecurity patriarchy is trying to feed us? If you do, you can play in the Quantum Field and start creating that new life that the world needs so very much.
Other Astrological Influences
A total solar eclipse blocks out the face of the Sun, disrupting old patterns of energy and energizing new ones. Since it occurs at the last degree of the zodiac, it's a good time to meditate and open up to the new energies being generated.
With the Sun, Moon, Chiron, Mercury and Neptune in Pisces, our spiritual awareness is open and attuned to the unseen realities, and we can more easily receive information from these other dimensions via our right, imaginal brain. Our compassion, imagination and faith lead the way now.
Uranus and Mars are in Aries, signaling a time to act on our inspirations and for our freedom. Mars can be selfish in the sign of Aries, but this Aries energy is balanced by the North Node in Libra, which is calling on all of us to step away from anger and aggression and start using our will and assertion to foster more balanced and fair outcomes to relationship issues.
Saturn turned retrograde at 5* Sagittarius on Saturday, March 14th until August 2nd. It will retrograde back into the last degrees of Scorpio this summer, revisiting and redeeming any last vestiges of intimacy issues we didn't deal with over the past 2 years.
The Sabian Symbol for Saturn at 5* Sagittarius is: An old owl sits alone on the branch of a large tree. The owl is an ancient symbol of both wisdom and death. It can see in the dark and perceive things humans can't. It sees in the depths and gives us new perspectives on our lives. Saturn's retrograde is a time to build inner structures of belief which are connected with cosmic law instead of human law. It's time to live by your own rules, rather than society's rules.
Spring Equinox occurs about 13 hours after this Pisces New Moon. It heralds a new beginning, since Spring Equinox marks the beginning of the astrological year, when the Sun first rises above the equator to begin its travels in the northern hemisphere. The Equinox chart shifts the energies from Pisces to Aries, with the Sun, Moon, Uranus and Mars in Aries ready to begin our new adventure!
7th Pluto/Uranus Square
Monday March 16th 2015 at 6:50pm PDT/9:50pm EDT, Uranus and Pluto will square (90*) each other for the 7th and last time since 2012. The wild awakening of the 60s' conjunction (0*) of Pluto and Uranus in Virgo was the awakening to a deeper and higher consciousness, opening up doors of perception and states of awareness that our parents still can't wrap their heads around. This was to prepare humanity for our future.
This 7th square indicates that we have reached a point in our evolution when we have to make a conscious choice about how we're going to live the rest of our lives. Can we let go of our personal and cultural stories of need and greed, violence and sex, power and domination, inequality and death, them and us? Or can we step into quantum theory's new paradigm that states that we actually do create our own reality? As viewed, so it appears. The observer influences what happens in quantum theory. That means we have to take responsibility for the life we create. And it also means that if we pursue our true purpose, we can create the life we are meant to live.
Carl Jung's psychology works within the quantum field. In our engagement with the Unconscious, through dreams, visions, active imagination, story, archetype, mythology and symbols, we play with the part of the psyche that can engage this quantum field through the Creative Imagination. The Creative Imagination is what helps us co-create with the Universe. It is through our right brain feminine consciousness that we access the Quantum Field, which contains all the possibilities of Life. We just have to learn how to access it correctly and for the right reasons.
The 60s', Part 2
Once we developed the capacity to annihilate the world in the 1940s, our inner psyches were brought face to face with the possibility of horrific death at any moment. The very hell-fire that Christianity predicted for evildoers could descend on us at any moment! Of course that just made life more interesting and more immediate. If death was lurking just around the corner, why not live life to the fullest? Besides sex, drugs and rock 'n roll, that meant exploring new ideas about the possibilities of life and of death.
In stepping outside the box of those dogmatic beliefs and judgments instilled in us by church and state, we explored the possibilities of who we are and what we wanted to create. We rebelled (Uranus) against the status quo (Pluto).
We Baby Boomers are great creators, having Pluto (transformation) in Leo (creativity). We just have to learn to turn our creativity toward the good of the world, rather than the good of 'me', which is the shadow side of Leo. That's the side Pluto works to transform, because that kind of selfishness is no longer viable. We are here on Earth to enrich life, not consume our way through it.
We BB's also engaged in a more personal spirituality which led to embarking on the soulful journey to enlightenment, freedom and bliss that so occupied the 60s' generation. How our generation influenced subsequent ones is evident. Young people today are all on their spiritual quest. And many of them already operate innately out of the Quantum Field. They are taking up the challenges of the future with vision and hope.
Back in the 60s, the original seed was planted in the sign of Virgo, symbolizing both the harvest and the mastery of life. Virgo asks us to grow up and utilize our gifts and talents in appropriate ways. To become Masters at the Art of Life. Pluto and Uranus started their new cycle in 1965-66 in Virgo with concerns about social justice, women's equality, food production and our environment, war and peace, space exploration and resource depletion, sexual freedom and religious freedom, artistic freedom and technological freedom and world unity.
That new seed has grown into a deep-rooted plant these last three years as we've gone on the hero's journey, working to overcome the obstacles to incorporating this new vision into our personal consciousness as well as into the collective consciousness of the world. Now that new life calls us to be of service (Virgo) as we learn to be co-creators of Life (Pluto square Uranus).
This Cosmic Story of awakening and transformation has completed of its cycle. This part of the re-birthing of our consciousness has been about the struggle with the powers that be to bring needed changes into our social, political, economic structures and belief systems. We are outgrowing our childhood as a world. We know we are one world now. How will we deal with each other and our precious Mother Earth? This is the radical choice that faces us.
Remember to be Grateful for such wonderful blessings!
Walk in the Light,
What is laughter? What is laughter?
It is God waking up! O it is God waking up!
It is the sun poking its sweet head out
From behind a cloud
You have been carrying too long,
Veiling your eyes and heart.
It is Light breaking ground for a great Structure
That is your Real body - called Truth.
It is happiness applauding itself and then taking flight
To embrace everyone and everything in this world.
Laughter is the polestar
Held in the sky by our Beloved,
Who eternally says,
"Yes, dear ones, come this way,
Come this way towards Me and Love!
Come with your tender mouths moving
And your beautiful tongues conducting songs
And with your movements - your magic movements
Of hands and feet and glands and cells - Dancing!
Know that to God's Eye,
All movement is a Wondrous Language,
And Music - such exquisite, wild Music!"
O what is laughter, Hafiz?
What is this precious love and laughter
Budding in our hearts?
It is the glorious sound
Of a soul waking up!
