Let me see if I can get this one straight: The people who were supposedly smart and organized enough to hijack four major airliners, avoid the most sophisticated air defense system in the world, hit three of four targets in New York and Washington and kill three thousand people on 9/11 had no idea that we were following their money around until the New York Times ran the story last week about Bush's finance tracking operation?

Let me see if I can get this one straight: The people who were supposedly smart and organized enough to hijack four major airliners, avoid the most sophisticated air defense system in the world, hit three of four targets in New York and Washington and kill three thousand people on 9/11 had no idea that we were following their money around until the New York Times ran the story last week about Bush's finance tracking operation?
Please. If you're buying that garbage, I'm sure Jeb Bush has some valuable Florida swamp land you'll be interested in too.
I have a question for all you hopeless Bushies. If we're going to prosecute the Times (as many are calling for) for giving terrorists a heads-up on the finance tracking operation last week, what should we do with a president who has been doing the exact same thing for the last five years?
Public comments of George W. Bush, regarding the tracking of terrorist finances:
9/24/01:"Today we have launched a strike on the financial foundation of the global terror network."
10/10/01: "The American people must understand that we're making great progress on other fronts, that we're halting their money."
11/7/01: "From the mountains of Afghanistan to the bank accounts of terrorist organizations."
12/20/01: "The assets of more than 150 known terrorists, their organizations and their bankers have been frozen by the United States."
11/25/02: "We're trackin' terrorist activity, we're freezin' terrorist finances, we're disrupting terrorist plots."
3/23/04: "We've got a strong network of cooperative governments trying to chase down terrorist money and prevent that money from being spread around to cause harm."
4/19/04: "Part of the way to make sure that we catch terrorists is we chase money trails."
Video of Bush making above comments
George W. Bush is not mad because the New York Times has made it harder to track terrorists. He's mad because they've made it harder for him and his administration to keep Americans in the dark about their own criminal activity.
If you haven't already done so, it's time to stand up and join the fight to take your country back.
