In 1908, an archeologist found a flint spearhead in New Mexico and named it the Clovis Point and for a long time we thought the first AMERICANS came here about 12000 years ago. Then they found some more stuff in Chile and now we know the first AMERICANS were here at least 20,000 years ago…..probably a lot longer.

If the Mexicans suddenly disappear, native born US citizens will ONLY accept and do the same jobs for three or four times more money than we pay the Mexicans. I know because I have been hiring and firing both the American citizens and the Mexicans all my adult life. You Republicrooks are blocking a minimum wage increase right now because you have managed to rationalize in your tiny minds that $5.15 per hour is not slave labor….or maybe you just don’t care if it is. My great grand father would have loved it………it’s a lot cheaper than it was to own them!

If you could get the gringos to take the jobs at all, it would mean the prices of products (plucked chickens, butchered and packed cows, harvested and crated onions and boxed strawberries ad infinitum.) services, roads, and infrastructure would all increase by three to four hundred percent……and so would taxes. That would all have to be paid for by somebody. Would that somebody be you Senator? I didn’t think so. The cost of living for EVERYBODY would increase three to four hundred Percent…….that’s 300 to 400% immediately! Hell, we fuss about gas prices……huh….spare change!

If Americans didn’t take these jobs, the meat, produce, dairy etc. isles of the supermarkets will look like those of Russia right after the fall of the Old Soviet Union ……….EMPTY!

I used to own a restaurant. All the restaurants and hotels would just simply stop. You think Norman Brinker, Gene Street or John Martin is going to go back there and wash those dishes, do that laundry or fry those “Freedom Fries” for more than a day or two….if at all? The houses, buildings, roads, bridges, airports etc. would STOP being built.

Next time you pass a road crew, look out at the one gringo with the hard hat and the clipboard and the 20 Mexicans with picks and shovels. The white guy is just standing around. I’ve done a LOT of construction work in my life and I know who did most of the real part of it. It wasn’t the white guy with the clipboard.
