Baba Beijing sez: we don't need no stinkin' Western democrassy!

In a series of carefully prepared, meticulously worded speeches, Xi Jinping, the President of China, has all but declared any notion of adopting Western style "democracy" as misguided and dangerous. The son of a well respected Communist revolutionary, Xi is taking the mantle of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, and acting very presidential indeed. He is a force to be reckoned with, not only in China, but for adversarial US/NATO too. Thirty five years ago, when China was still broke and broken after a long generation of ceaseless, internecine revolution, Deng Xiaoping said:

Keep a cool head and maintain a low profile... Never take the lead - but aim to do something big.

Baba Beijing has resoundingly rejected one-third of Deng's aphorism -- the middle one. The other two live large in the minds of Baba Beijing, as it faces off with Eurangloland, not just in China's backyard, but on every landmass and ocean.

Like any good conservative, Baba Beijing is finding an alternative pathway by seeking answers and guidance from China's millennia of existence, and its multitude of philosophers, historians, authors and teachers. Xi has recently been pulling quotes and axioms from China's ancient texts going back 2,500 years. Confucius is hip again and citizens of all socioeconomic strata are seeking out his wisdom and sage advice. Westerners are all in a snit that China is formulating its own identity and system of governance on its own terms, while moving and shaking across the planet. How dare they!

Xi is staking out China's own version of authoritarian, collective democracy, while working to integrate the concept of rule of law. This is causing China watchers fits, as they try to make sense of it all, parsing and divining every Chinese character uttered or printed.

Nor is Baba Beijing reticent about invoking Mao Zedong's more recent ponderings on socialism and communism. Baba is also talking about and defending the people's democratic dictatorship, which is straight out of China's constitution. While it sounds jarring to Westerners' programmed ears, it is simply an updated, revolutionary synonym for the Heavenly Mandate, i.e., maintaining stability, unity and sacrificing individual needs for the common good of all the citizens.

Xi is also taking his message of a new pathway to the four corners of the Earth, along with Premier Li Keqiang. Both have been pressing the flesh on every inhabited continent, talking about the Asian Century, several Eurasian Silk Roads, a String of Pearls, while signing hundreds of billions in trade and commerce deals. The intent is clear: after 500 years of Euroamerican colonialism and exploitation of 85% of humanity's citizens, the 21st century will be very different, and China will help lead to make our coexistence more peaceful, more equal and more multipolar.

Baba Beijing's people's democratic dictatorship has most recently been thoroughly tested in Hong Kong, with the US financed, instigated and managed Occupy Central color (Umbrella) revolution. As has been pointed out to everyone, but ignored in the West, China has assiduously adhered to every tenet of the 1990 Basic Law, signed in agreement with Britain, and simply wants to follow the letter of the law for the upcoming 2017 elections. In effect, America's CIA puppet protesters are demanding that China violate an international treaty. That is something that Baba Beijing is simply not going to let happen, America's corporate, crass and corrupt "democracy" be damned.

Baba Beijing is not isolated. Xi Jinping and Russia's Vladimir Putin have met face to face no less than nine times in the last year and half. They've got each other's back in Ukraine and are against all the CIA's many color revolutions and government destabilization efforts around the world. India is set to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which with Russia and China, stands as a serious counterweight to US/NATO's colonial ambitions in Asia. I have written several columns on the history-setting policies and efforts that the BRICS countries have undertaken just in the last year; it's breathtaking, when one thinks Bretton Woods was signed only 70 years ago, a blink of a Sino-eye.

Baba Beijing and the Chinese think in terms of decades and centuries. Americans can't think past the 24-hour propaganda spin and quarterly stock reports. As the American Dream rapidly fades from unequal reality to universal deception, Xi Jinping's Chinese Dream is tapping roots across the People's Republic, and into the 21st century, not just for China, but for all the people of the world.
