The leadership of this country are making life and death decisions while tripped out on some strange new cognitive hallucinogen.

Secretary of State, John Kerry, condemns Russia's "incredible act of aggression" in Ukraine: "You just don't in the 21st century behave in 19th century fashion by invading another country on completely trumped up pre-text."

Is he kidding or what? Is it possible that Kerry could be so severely lacking in self-awareness that he can't see the hypocrisy in this statement. Iraq! Afghanistan! Libya! Somalia! HELLO!

Anyone who has even the slightest inkling of what the U.S. has been up to over the last more than a decade will, no doubt, see right through this hypocritical propaganda.

But it gets even worse. Kerry indicated that the U.S. would be sending "technical experts" to Ukraine to provide advice on how Ukraine's national bank and finance ministry can fight corruption. HELLO! Has he forgotten that the corruption of the U.S. banking system sent the world economy into a tailspin not long ago, bilking taxpayers out of 17 trillion dollars in government bailouts, with no one going to jail for any of it?

Kerry said he would also be sending "technical experts" to Ukraine to "train election monitors" to help establish the legitimacy of Ukraine's upcoming election. HELLO! Has he forgotten the well-documented illegitimacy of the 2000 and 2004 U.S. presidential elections?

Why isn't this man a laughingstock? Perhaps he is and I just haven't been paying enough attention.

It's as though Kerry's body's own chemical manufacturing plant has gone awry and produced some strange new cognitive hallucinogen that produces conceptual as opposed to perceptual hallucinations, resulting in some truly bizarre effects.

Instead of causing Kerry to see things that aren't really there, as hallucinogens are generally known to do, this strange new built-in, body-manufactured hallucinogen is apparently causing Kerry to NOT see things that really ARE there. The result is that Kerry ends up with a whole slew of false beliefs of which he is thoroughly convinced are true.

The way this internally manufactured hallucinogen works its magic is really quite simple: it works the same on anyone who comes under its influence. What we correctly see as reprehensible behavior in another, we fail to see in ourselves. The mirror of relationship is ever before us, yet we fail to see our own reflection. What we see in the other we fail to recognize in ourselves, and what we fail to recognize in ourselves we project onto the other in a vicious, self-perpetuating, self-reinforcing, downward spiral of unwitting self-debasement.

If the dosage is high enough, as it is in Kerry's case, even more bizarre effects are known to occur. Instead of blinding us to the same reprehensible behavior in ourselves that we see so clearly in the other, our own reprehensible behavior is transformed in our eyes into something that it's not. A particular behavior is seen to be reprehensible when displayed by the other, but is regarded as justifiable, and even laudable, when we proudly claim responsibility for the very same behavior.

It's exactly this kind of hallucinogenic influence that is in operation when Kerry, Obama, and other U.S. politicians, as well as their many patriotic citizen-minions, come to the defense of the violently aggressive behavior the U.S. displays on the world stage. Under the influence of this internally manufactured hallucinogen, they either fall to see it, or they find it magically transformed into something that it's not... something worthy of the highest praise.
