Thanks to the help of Marc Maron's producer in Los Angeles on very short notice, last night the Impeach Team was able to record their first radio spot, which will start streaming on Air America in the next day or so. Just click on the link above and you can listen to it for free right now!

In the same way that we have to all join our voices in calling for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney, three Democratic challengers for the U.S. House, Charles Coleman (CA-28), Bob McCloskey (CA-29) and Marcy Winograd (CA-36) are joining their voices to put the activism message on the radio, standing together in true solidarity.

With just two weeks to go until their primaries, the founders of the Impeach Team are looking the have the largest possible impact, by encouraging as many people as they can to start speaking out for the immediate impeachment of the most out of control executives our country has ever had. And for that they are asking to you to make whatever donation you can so they can run as many of these spots as possible.

Every day that passes carries the threat that Bush and Cheney will start another reckless, ill-advised war, perhaps for the sole purpose of warping the result of yet another election. Every day that passes carries the danger they will secretly invade even deeper into the personal lives of ordinary American citizens, not to protect us . . . but to protect THEMSELVES. Even now they are threatening to prosecute journalists who would dare expose the administration's own crimes.

This is our last chance to save our democracy. This our last chance to put the checks and balances back in our government that the founders intended. Where is the intelligence in a Senate Intelligence Committee that yesterday VOTED 12-4 for a military coup, a military takeover of the CIA? The only way some of them will ever start listen to the voice of the American people is if they see that their disregard of our best interests will start to cost them elections. They must see that we will support, and work for, and come out to vote for candidates like Bob McCloskey, Marcy Winograd and Charles Coleman instead, who are NOT afraid to speak the truth, and NOT afraid to take a stand.
