Cynthia Piano

Cynthia Piano is a profound mentor. She is the Founder of Oneness House, A Spiritual Spa and International Spiritual development and growth center. Its purpose is to serve those beings who wish to heal and ascend while on this planet. Their services reach " around the globe and into the cosmos." Many cosmic healers work with Oneness House to bring about healing, cleansing, re-birth, resurrection, ascension, anointing, transmutation, transformation and adaptation.

Cynthia is also a writer, visionary, Spiritual Life Mastery Mentor, and Doctor of Divinity. After working successfully in the corporate world for 22 years, she took the leap of faith to transition into the healing work she discovered to be her deepest mission. She encourages clients and us to, likewise, venture forth boldly and without fear into fulfillment.

In moving past our fears of change, we all have the capability to awaken to who we are. Cynthia's teachings remind me of a Hindu story where Vishnu (the God of Sustaining) takes form as a mother sheep and settles into nursing her baby. Shiva (the Lord of Death) and Brhamin (the Lord of Creation) see this fiasco and have a fit. Thus they came to Vishnu and screamed, "wake up, wake up you silly Lord and take your place as a God, as you should be."

To awaken, to transform into who we are in our Truth, we need to die to what we think we are.

The question we must ask ourselves: "Are we sheep that are being herded by some external God to slaughter (or far away heaven), or are we incarnation for a God that takes on both roles as Uncreated and Created?" Perhaps God is enjoying His/Her Self in nursing creation? I almost say "us" as if there is an "us" separate from "I-Am!"

Yes, even the staunch atheist is so full of God/Goddess that he glows in the dark. Being a-theistic he may even be closer, in that, by definition, he is beyond being full of theologies and philosophies. As it was said by Christian mystic William Blake

Give them the stone of Sophia

and you'll find philosophy gone

and, what is left? The stone!

Thus, is the Hindu account of Vishnu a story regarding an aspect of God, or is it OUR story? :) Perhaps the answer is "yes," or perhaps it is "no". Perhaps this is not an either/ or question but a both and. Dare we identify a surface wave with an entire Ocean? Yet, is the wave not a movement of the entire Ocean in relationship to the atmosphere? Perhaps we can begin to see that the particle is driven by the whole and the particle in its depths is as infinite as the whole. Particle and whole, or finite and infinite, are not two. They share identical DNA.

As if to reinforce my love for the notion that the universe is a holograph, where the part contains and mirrors the whole, Cynthia states that Hawaii's 7 islands are aligned to the 7 chakras of the human body. Indeed, in line with the Hawaian islands being a holographic image of the entire planet, the website Earth Chakras state the Earth's chakras are at various locations throughout the Earth. As it is in Heaven, so it is on Earth. As it is on the volcanic islands of Hawaii, so it is on Earth. And, so it is inside us!

Many people believe that spirituality is not about being Earth centered. To them, Earth is just a waystation, a school, a testing-ground. However, Cynthia states that being in Hawaii helped her to rekindle her affinity for the land. Indeed, she stated she learned a deep appreciation for the "Aina," central and sustaining for us on spiritual and emotional as well as a physical levels.

There is a lot of talk about dimensions in New Age Circles. Cynthia thus speaks to the 5th dimension. When asked about this dimension, Cynthia states it's easy to get hung up on the dimensions, and miss feeling what one's feeling and knowing. She helped us realize that when we start to quantify and categorize, we anesthetize the pulsations and cycles basic to life.

Cynthia can feel herself in multiple dimensions during daytime and nightime sleep. She has been working on this for the past twelve years. It's interesting as I heard her say this, I wondered about her saying daytime sleep. Then I thought of my own true labor in this world, to understand the unity behind the diversity of this world in relationship to dreams that I had. This exploration led me into researching the various religions in relationship to science back in the early 90's. During my study of mythology and religion, I came to realize that just about all religions say the universe, this manifest world, is a dream, thought or word that manifests as this universe in all its dimensions.

The higher dimensions are important to explore. In myth, this is often related in the stories about going to a mountaintop, or in some cases flying. I actually had this experience in a dream that occurred in the 90's. In short, I went flying above the Earth with a Woman/Goddess and beheld its unity. This dream marked the beginning of my understanding the unity of world religions to science and led me into reading and researching the works of people like Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, David Bohm, F. David Peat and others. Entering into higher dimensions of consciousness, one is entering into a higher, more holisitc or unified experiences of the world. Thus, Martin Luther King went to the mountaintop and saw the unity of the little black boy and the little white girl.

Cynthia speaks passionately about the importance of being in our heart consciousness. According to her, the heart "has the brain, has the divine Feminine". The heart is the focus, and is the basis and the very depths of Divinity. It is the first and central organ to develop within the fetus. From the heart, all else flowers.

In today's world, we still pay some attention to the heart intelligence as reflected in those times when we say, "trust your heart in this matter." The heart is thus linked to intuition which is an intelligence that has a much more inclusive view than the rational mind. Intuition is in essence a seeing into a pattern and identifying what its implications are for the future. It appears to be "magic," and it is. But the magic is in its ability to grasp the wholeness of a situation in accordance to its effect on future events. The magic is our invisible umbilicus to a Knowing that is beyond words and rationing.

The heart is notoriously seen as the organ of love and unity. This is in contrast to the egotistical mind which is oriented towards the divisional or dualistic modes of thinking. Thus our corporate/government rulers are intent on the "Divide and Conquer" ethos. As such we have left against right, men against women, children against parent, and black against white. This divisional mindset has been utilized in keeping people at odds with one another, so focused on our differences that we cannot see our puppeteers.

I say this mindset of "divide and conquor" has been consciously manipulated by the powers-that-be, the Corporate Elite and banksters, in order to keep them in charge. This motto has also resulted in our alienation of Spirit from Land. Spirit is connected to All, not only to the human body, but also to Land, Sea, Atmosphere, and Ether. Our divisions are consciously manipulated through media and education in order to keep people from understanding the unity in the world. The reason is to keep the ruling elite, the corporations and top 1% in control of the 99%. This, in itself, is a war-producing division. Thus Cynthia's motto is, " OCCUPY YOUR HEART WITH LOVE, for WE ARE THE 100%!"

Cynthia has several degrees in math, psychology, theology, and counseling while stating none of that institutional learning awakened her to who she truly is. Indeed, she boldly states, "no formal education ever awakened anything!" Education has been perverted to elaborate separate "disciplines" and divide knowledge from Wisdom. Let's muse on that in relationship to what the epistemological roots of education are. The term educate literally means to unfold. Education is an evolutionary process in which the potential that lies within ourselves is brought forward. This brings up the words of Jesus in the Gnostic "Gospel of Thomas":

If you bring forth that which is within you, then that which is within you will save you. If you do NOT bring forth that which is within you, then that which is within you will kill you.

This is a much different statement than those made by professional Christians who state that we should follow a particular theology, be it Protestant or Catholic. It is also much different from the mystics that have embraced the Christian religion and who taught that Christ was the evolutionary potential of humanity (see Evelyn Underhill's Mysticism). Many of these mystics, Meister Eckhart among them, were punished by the Church for their teachings. Catechisms of all stripes must be force-fed, perverting the true thirst for knowledge and purpose of education. Orthodoxy requires a defensive stance which, when married to power, generates offensive action and ultimately genocide. (Could it be that orthodoxy, not money, is at the root of the greatest evil?)

This meditation on education points to the problem inherent in today's society. We are about "top-down rule" and not about empowering people and Nature to unfold their evolutionary potential. We want control, which is why we have the likes of Monsanto who wants to control our foods through genetic engineering. Standardization of our food further increases issues with pests that love to attack the rows and rows of the same crop, perceiving therein a heavenly feast. The adversarial, defensive stance of corporate agriculture then requires more pesticides which, in turn, results in more deterioration of the land. Education, religion, and agriculture are but three examples of the how alienation from Unity distorts and perverts our thinking-being-doing. As it manifests in those realms, so it manifests in all realms.

In speaking to the multiple dimensions of the universe, Cynthia points out that we can get caught up in the dimensions and miss what we are feeling. To use a personal example, I often had intuitions, even as a young child, regarding our spirituality. As a five-year-old, I envisioned a Goddess Woman who used to sit on top of the bird cage housing my parakeet. It is probably no accident as I reflect on this as an adult that a bird, a flying creature and thus a symbol of freedom, was in a cage. Was this reflective of my life in Western Civilization? Yes!

In line with Cynthia's teachings about the 5th dimension, when we transcend the 4th dimensional world (Einstein saw the 4th dimension as time), we get a more macroscipic view of the world. These kinds of visions happened to the likes of Martin Luther King, Ghandi, and Moses. Going to the mountaintop, or going into he depths of space to gaze upon the Earth, helps you to see the patterns. Thus there have been many astronauts who were deeply affected by seeing Earth from afar. The photographic images they sent back to us have become an effective new meme, empowering the movement away from divisional toward holistic worldviews. We are all cast into awe and reverence by these beautiful images of our living planet. Thus we are all propelled into the 5th dimension and beyond. No longer is my canary in a cage but alive and flying free in my heart.

In line with this vision, Martin Luther King was able to envision the little black boy holding hands with the little white girl. Yes, he saw the unity of opposites, black and white, male and female. He saw the circle unbroken...healed.

Our unity is a major issue for our modern day, essential to the healing of the Earth and the continuity of our species (and the others we have been dragging down to oblivion along with us). While many of us appear to be awakening to the tyranny of our system, the question is do we have enough of a 5th dimensional view of the world we have created (destroyed) in order to get the larger patterns to our behavior? There have been many revolutions in the past, including the French, the American, etc. Yet, nothing has changed for the past several thousand years. We appear to be stuck in a pattern.

We can blame the bankers for this mess. Or, we can blame the politicians. Or, we can even make it more specific and blame the Republicans and their underling born-again Christians. The question is, how much do we play a part in this dynamic? I say "a lot". Indeed, as my wife, Merry, just said, "We have ourselves to blame, IF we want to stay mired in blame; or we can utilize their and our past actions as teachers, allowing ourselves to grow and evolve beyond blame into the higher dimensions of love where restitution is the law of Justice." We can learn from Jesus and all our true teachers not to cast the first stone before examining our own consciences.

"How do we free ourselves?" is a question that lingers behind the work of people like Cynthia. We can't continue being housewives to the top 1% who believe they have dominion over us. This aspect of Adam as ruler over Eve must cease. Adam needs to become a passionate Lover alongside Eve. Eve (We) also need to transform beyond our codependency as consumers, patriots, victims, and sheep in need of a shepherd. There is no man in political, clerical or corporate robe that can rule over us. It is interesting in this regard that rules and ruler become the "ruler" by which we measure our worth, dignity, and power. But the fact is, in the depths of our being, and in every particle in Nature, is a place that is beyond measure.

As reflected in the Greek symbol "phi", there is no beginning or end. Hence the Greek name for Wisdom, Sophia (Wisdom), had the letter "phi" as the middle syllable. "Phi" is a "yin -- yang" or "female -- male" symbol with a phallic "I" intersecting a vaginal "O": Ñ? . This means the male tendency to differentiate into the limited is married eternally to the unlimited and infinite. This is mirrored in conception when the sperm enters the egg which then entices the egg to divide and differentiate into cells that form the body of a fetus. As above, so below. Reread the creation myths, including Genesis 1 of the Bible and you'll see this very process unfold. On a more profound level, the unlimited singularity (or no-thing) is contained in the limited multiplicity (or thing) and vice versa. Eternity / Infinity (or Timeless and Spaceless) and Time / Space are not two. The infinite-eternal One exists side-by-side with no-one. Rather it begets, nurtures, embraces and encompasses its manifestation in space-time. We, in turn, procreate, co-create, and evolve to give Him/Her expression of Essence. We live out the symbiosis between Infinity and Space and between Eternity and Time. We fulfill the Infinite Eternal divine. Through us, God LIVES.

Some Christians sing to God, "Glory, Glory the Lord Thy God is One!" This is a profound statement transcending the divisive tendency of some Christians to hate everything "other." When the saying says "the Lord Thy God is One," this means one with everything. This includes all manifestations of Goddess and God in the various religions. The plurality of God is a singularity. Within unity dwells diversity; within diversity dwells unity. This pattern has been illustrated brilliantly by authors such as mythologist Joseph Campbell as well as pointed to by psychiatrist Carl Jung and his notion of the Collective Unconscious. "E Pluribus Unim," meaning "in the many one," is much more than an empty slogan pinned on a Nation inherently caught up in the "divide and conquer" ethos. It is the Truth that will set us free.

"Occupy your heart, for we are the 100%." No one is left behind, no child, no adult, no anything on this planet. Thus is the message of Cynthia Piano!

Some Post-Article Reflections

The letter "phi"

Ñ?

reflects the cosmological unity of male and female in infinity, in much as the same way the Yin-Yang symbol does in Taoist thought.

As if to support Cynthia's message, there was a protest in Richmond VA, in which a chant was spoken, "We are unstoppable, another world is possible."

His book is The Fourth Dimension: A Guided Tour of the Higher Universes or Toward a Geometry of Higher Reality. Author's note: His work is a little confusing to me for he talks of the fourth dimension. I wonder if many of us think of this dimension as the fifth, since Einstein considered time to be the fourth dimension. Rucker has other videos on YouTube that are entertaining (as is his book) and, yet, helps us to engage in exploring higher realms of being and seeing. The book is published by Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston, Mass. The edition I have is 1984.

Underhill, Evelyn, Mysticism: the Preeminent Study in the Nature and Development of Spiritual Consciousness. Image Books: Doubleday, New York, NY, 1990. Author's note, this is a highly developed analysis of Christian mystics and well worth reading. It is; however, not a light read.

Authors Bio:
Burl Hall is a retired counselor who is living in a Senior Citizen Housing apartment. Burl has one book to his credit, titled "Sophia's Web: A Passionate Call to Heal our Wounded Nature." For more information, search the book on Amazon.

Burl's philosophy entails the idea that "everything effects and causes everything thing else." His spirituality of Sophia i.e., Wisdom is universal as well as within each of us. He also sees the idea of Chaos as not being "all over the place" but as infinite relationships.

The question I present in my articles speak not so much towards the politicians, but how WE the people can empower ourselves within a planet that is healthy, wealthy and wise.
