Quick Message From OccupyDC:

By Marta Steele

Words to the progressive world from OccupyDC, McPherson Square, Washington, DC:

::::::::

Quick Message from OccupyDC:

There was no snow in DC last night, but it was cold today and will be

cold again all winter. The DC occupiers, like others all over, need

winter supplies but especially more people, though the park is filled

with tents--there's always more room.

"DC is the most civilized place in the South--this IS the South, said

the man I was speaking with, an engineer standing in front of the

information tent.

"But it also has the warmest climate of any of the cities in the

Northeast."

The local police are ok, but the feds are a bit uptight, so donations

of pro boon legal service will be most welcome.
