Episode 8 of Conspiracy Theory with Jess Ventura takes a hard look at the sacred myth of the 9/11 assault on the Pentagon by al Qaeda. I call it a sacred myth for 2 reasons, because to question it is considered blasphemy in official circles, while the facts the myth are built upon are as solid as the images from a hall of distorted mirrors in an amusement park, each mirror designed to give you a false view of reality.

In Jesse Ventura's latest nugget from his wildly popular TruTV investigative series, Episode 8 of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura, the former Navy UDT/SEAL member, actor, wrestler and governor of Minnesota takes on one of the Establishment's sacred myths driving the almost decade long, bloody, chaotic, financially ruinous and corruption-laced War on Terror, the belief that American Airlines Boeing 757 Flight 77, 35 minutes after taking off from DC's Dulles Airport, was hjacked by five al-Qaeda operatives (two of whom, it was later revealed, were alive and well in the Middle East at that time, their identities misused) who stormed the cockpit and overwhelmed the flight crew, allowing their own pilot, Hani Hanjour, to turn the plane around and deliberately fly it into the Pentagon some 50 or so minutes later. Or so the story goes.

There have been many criticisms of, even accusatory attacks on the official government storyline over the past few years, but it seems that for every attack there is a counterattack that doesn't really resemble any dialectical process, but rather trench warfare from World War I, replete with Howitzer bombardments on the critic plus withering rifle fire, as well as smoke grenades and shells that fill the "battle scene" with the fog of propaganda war.

The beauty of Episode 8 is that it lays out the main criticisms of the official storyline in a comprehensive, straightforward manner with powerful interviews and strong rebuttals of key tenets of the "Hani Hanjour slammed the Pentagon" theory of what happened that fateful day of September 11th, 2001. This is not mere wild-eyed speculation, but information grounded in reality. Is it the final word? No, but it certainly adds to the evidence that the official story is not right.

Jesse begins the episode by recounting a phone call he received from Charles Lewis, a Los Angeles Airport Contractor conducting inspections for the LA Building and Safety Department at the LA airport. As 9/11 was going down, Charles, with approved credentials, happened to be in the vicinity of restricted air traffic controller conversations on a high-level, official radio frequency. He told Ventura, in person, how he overheard controllers demanding to know, with great distress, why NORAD hadn't been informed of the hijacking of Flight 77, to which a shocking reply eventually floated across the secured airwaves: NORAD HAD INDEED BEEN INFORMED BUT HAD BEEN TOLD TO STAND DOWN. When it was asked who had stood NORAD down, the reply came back: THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF THE WHITE HOUSE. NORAD's multi-billion dollar air defense system had been rendered useless by a simple command: Stand down. And this was despite the fact that the Pentagon is in a high-level no-fly zone and equipped with its own anti-aircraft defenses, and where shooting down an invading aircraft is a prime option.

Was this Cheney or Bush who gave that command? We are all too aware that George Bush during this time period was in a Florida schoolroom reading My Pet Goat to young students, so we must assume the order to stand down came from the man at the helm in the White House underground control bunker in Washington DC at the time: Dick Cheney.

But Charles was not done with his revelations in Episode 8: the next shocker he heard coming across the radio as clear as a bell was the statement that the Pentagon had been HIT BY A MISSILE, not a plane, yes, a missile! So imagine his surprise when he finally went home, turned on his TV and heard reports that the Pentagon had been hit by an airplane. The question now becomes, was the radio transmittal just hearsay or insider knowledge?

Based on Lewis's statements, Jesse and his team faned out across Washington DC to investigate the entire bailiwick surrounding the official Pentagon attack scenario, beginning with the the all-but-repressed and forgotten testimony of then Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta before the 9/11 Commission on May 23, 2003, wherein he stated that he was in the White House underground bunker with Vice-President Cheney on the morning of 9/11 as one young man repeatedly came forth to inform Cheney of how close to Washington the plane being tracked was approaching : 50 miles, 30 miles, etc., and when he announced "10 miles" he also asked Cheney if the "orders still stand", to which Cheney replied, according to Mineta, "Of course the orders still stand!" It doesn't take a psychic to figure out what those orders might be.

Mineta's testimony did not show up in the official 9/11 Commission Report. Worse still, his report has been excised from the 9/11 Commission's video report! Why is that? Could it be because it puts Dick Cheney in an extremely bad light, one of willfully NOT protecting the Pentagon from attack, of letting it get hit instead and killing all those innocent people?

Ventura and his team next investigate whether a jet-liner even hit the Pentagon. Through various interviews, videos and photos, Ventura makes a strong case that a Boeing 757 NEVER hit the Pentagon, because there was not any of the normal evidence of a jet-liner plane crash outside the building, no wings, no fuselage, no engines, although there was some evidence of smaller plane debris inside the building. Furthermore, engineers and a journalist that he and his investigators interview point out that the initial hole (before fire damage and further structural collapse enlarged the opening) did not by any stretch of the imagination match the outline of a 757, and to add injury to already stretched credulity, the structurally weak aluminum nose of a Boeing 757, an engineer being interviewed states, could not possibly smash through the protective steel-reinforced C-Ring beyond the first two walls the airliner would have had to have powered through. Here is a physics-based article that proves, at least on paper, that a Boeing 757 could not have hit the Pentagon without creating a much larger hole and/or leaving more debris outside: CLICK HERE.

To be fair to the official belief that Flight 77 did hit the Pentagon, at least ostensibly, Ventura then looks into the video evidence, since the Pentagon is one of the most heavily surveyed edifices on the planet, with scores of security video cameras monitoring it all the time, not to mention all the video cameras from nearby businesses that were randomly videotaping the Pentagon in the background on the morning of September 11th. The FBI fanned out in force that very day to confiscate or retrieve some 85 or more video cameras surrounding the Pentagon and in the vicinity that day.

You would think, with all that multiple footage, that at least one of the videotapes would clearly show Flight 77 hitting the Pentagon. However, "It took five years of lawsuits", Jesse alleges, "to force the Defense Department to release just three minutes of footage and it all came down to just five frames." And those five frames only show a fireball, NOT A LARGE AIRPLANE in any of them, certainly no fuselage or wings, or the huge tail of a 757.

Then there is Hami Hanjour, "pilot extraordinaire". Could a young man whom his American flight instructors have revealed could not be counted on to even pilot a Cessna 172 properly, then be expected to maneuver a much larger Boeing 757 with highly complex cockpit instrumentation into an extreme turn while diving down and leveling off into a parallel-to-the ground run right into the Pentagon at high speed (500 knots)? Not according to former Air Force pilot Rob Balsamo, who tells Ventura that this was impossible to pull off for a novice, and extremely difficult if not impossible for a seasoned professional!

Ventura and his interviewees speculate that it was a missile that hit the Pentagon, possibly flying in tandem with Flight 77, then hitting the complex while the plane flew over the building, obscured by the fireball and heavy plumes of black smoke. Or was the plane possibly itself obliterated by a missile and what was left of Flight 77 flew into the building.

One can dismiss Jesse's episode at this point as just one more exercise in futile speculation over the long-standing question, missile or plane? However, Episode 8 goes that extra mile, Jesse interviewing Army Specialist April Gallup, who was at her desk in the very space destroyed by the 9/11 attack that morning, with her two-month old baby in a stroller right next to her when disaster struck. April recounts that she heard a loud bomb go off as the room collapsed around her. She had to low-crawl through the debris to grab her baby and escape through the impact hole, noting, amazingly, that she saw NO SIGN OF AN AIRPLANE as she staggered out into the open air.

THE GLOBAL HAWK?

At this point I want to digress from the content of Episode 8, because if it wasn't a plane that hit the Pentagon, and many witnesses say they DID see the plane, or a plane hit, which confuses the point that there was no obvious, large airplane wreckage, then must we necessarily assume it was a missile, or are there other scenarios altogether, and if so, what could they be?

Well, here is one of them: How many of you have heard of Samuel Danner and his eyewitness testimony? If not, check out this article excerpt:

An eyewitness from the Pentagon has come forward with an astonishing account that debunks the official 9/11 story and corroborates the hypothesis that an unmanned "and weaponized" Global Hawk drone was involved in the attack.

Nearly 5 years after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, an eyewitness from the Pentagon has come forth with testimony, which, if accurate, completely debunks the official version that a hijacked Boeing 757 flew into the 5-sided military fortress housing the U.S. Department of Defense.

Samuel D. Danner, a civilian pilot and electrical engineer from Hagerstown, Maryland, says he was trying to get out of Washington on the morning of 9/11 after hearing of the attacks on the World Trade Center. Having made a wrong turn, Danner wound up heading south on Washington Blvd. (Virginia Highway 27), the highway that passes alongside the western side of the Pentagon. It was from the shoulder of Highway 27, across from the Pentagon, that Danner says he observed the approaching aircraft involved in the attack. Danner's eyewitness account corroborates the theory that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), known as Global Hawk, was flown by remote control into the newly renovated section of the Pentagon, the fortress of the Department of War that was built on a low lying area formerly known as Hell's Bottom. Although Danner's testimony is unique in its detail and description of the aircraft, it is supported by an abundance of photographic evidence and numerous statements made by other eyewitnesses.....

....The evidence supporting the theory that a Global Hawk was flown into the Pentagon by remote control has been investigated by this writer in American Free Press. While Danner's testimony corroborates this hypothesis, which is supported by evidence, there is not a single piece of evidence, physical or photographic in the public domain to support the government version that a Boeing 757 crashed into the Pentagon. Returning to Jesse, there is much more to Episode 8 of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura than what I have mentioned in the paragraphs above. The question of the alleged cellphone and plane seat phone calls from hijacked Flight 77 are scrutinized and investigated, including the famous phone call of Barbara Olson, wife of Solicitor General Ted Olson. Was this phone call real, or was it morphed? Even an FBI report, we learn, casts doubt on the veracity of the call. Ventura then shows us the capabilities of audio morphing technology, which are nothing short of astonishing, astonishing enough to throw into doubt any calls from the hijacked planes on 9/11.

Finally Jesse raises the question of motives for an attack on the Pentagon, and the astounding statement then Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld made on Sept 10, 2001 at a press conference, to wit, that the Pentagon had lost track of 2.3 trillion dollars in its accounting records! The area destroyed by the Sept 11 attack happened to house the computers and files containing information on that missing $2,300,000,000, Ventura underscores.

No doubt about it, Episode 8 is a powerful investigation of the official 9/11 Pentagon storyline, which I prefer to call a sacred myth, not a real depiction of events, but a necessary myth to take us to war against the Moslem world and anyone else standing in the way of the "War on Terror", just as Adolph Hitler and the Nazis had their sacred myths to "prove" and justify how the superior Aryan Race had to eliminate all those evil, inferior Jews and other degenerate races by conquering all of Europe in the name of the Third Reich. What all these sacred myths result in are murder, mayhem, torture and destruction, the real psychological goals beneath all the fantastic rhetoric anyway.

We all owe it to ourselves and to humanity to find out the full truth about 9/11, becasue the War on Terror is still strangle-holding the planet with a violent and paranoid paradigm of fear and nihilism that is turning the world into an Orwellian, Matrix-like prison planet.

When you let governments get away with monstrous lies that take us to war, then all the world suffers because the reverberations are so horrific and deadly, or as Jesse Ventura puts it, "if you don't hold their feet to the fire, everybody gets burned!"
