At 7:30 pm EST tonight from Harriman, NY's IBEW Hall, John Hall kicks off his final Get out the Vote drive. Former President Bill Clinton will be the guest speaker and there will be musical guests from Blue Oyster Cult, Pousette-Dart Band and of course, Orleans.

Hall's seat is being challenged by Nan Hayworth, a perfect example of how Citizens United has hurt our democracy. As co-owner of a large for-profit medical center, Hayworth has pledged to repeal Obama's health care programs and privatize Social Security.

We have seen big health funding numerous attack ads targeting Hall and seeking to elect Hayworth as an "unregistered lobbyist" sitting in Congress to do their bidding. Her ties to Wall Street's biggest "vulture" hedge fund managers is even more troubling. We need to stand up against this kind of campaigning and this type of candidate.

A live blog is a real-time multimedia event that includes commentary and reporting from panelists, photographs, some live video coverage, and interaction with YOU the online audience!
