Planethood as I Would

By Theresa Paulfranz

Individual soul endeavoring is never threatened by the lethargy of the mass

::::::::

Ploughed deep into the ground from high above

Mother Nature gives form to formless love

The Father Spirit kisses his Essence-Born-Into-Existence

My heart encircles what is its own Sustaining Persistence

I am this Mother Planet, my soul and senses perceive

I am tiny hologram integral to the weave

Just as my soul is part of Infinite Spirit

My body is a part of this vast planet

Respecting my cell-hood, I excel

If I take too much I am a cancer to be expelled

I will respect my rightful place in the woods

Until my soul more fully wears planethood

By love I become what I admire

Separation is overcome within by respect and desire

I fuse with what I take care to respect

Though final fusion I can not now detect

Habit wears a groove in the ether

Creation warps its subtle energy to adher

It sticks to me like glue for bad or good

My soul's evolution happens as I would

Authors Bio:
I am a hippy that never dropped out. I have held on to impossible idealism and will not give up. I think the human race is a ticking time bomb and we are at the last tick. So what is the good of slow careful pragmatism that allows time for it all to happen with less than miraculous speed ? Right now we need near-impossible idealism or we need to go extinct so we can stop killing our planet. Other life forms may need it after we have almost destroyed it. Humans seem to be a very clever but unwise species that is not making it. At the very least we could go down with a little dignity. We have no planetary culture with both head and heart. And our numbers are so great we must have that. See you next lifetime on another planet incarnated in another species, I guess.
