I think creating the pink Ouija board is kind of like marketing a pink hand gun designed for young girls.

It is dangerous!

It is highly likely that a Ouija Board does nothing more than spell out some of the contents of the subconscious minds playing the game.

But there is an awesome power to the subconscious, and it is best not to confuse young minds with that power disguised as ghosts and spirits.

It is particularity disturbing that these pink boards would be used to try to market to 8 year old girls. The psychological damage that could result is very real, even to teenagers and impressionable adults.

But on a deeper level the marketing of the Pink Ouija Board is just another example of corporate greed and irresponsibility.

The profit motive nearly always takes precedence over concern for human safety. To me that is what is very scary.
