Rob: Your book is about big Pharma and Big Food. What's big food?

Agribusiness-- intersection between big food and big Pharma. They work together. 

Antibiotics in chicken-- millions of pounds of tetracycline used-- that may be why chicken soup is curing what ails you. 

Antibiotics get into the crops.

Meat industry denies that they're responsible for bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics.

A huge amount of Big pharma revenue comes from animals. 

Drugs that are used in livestock will be  a shock to people.

Psychoactive drugs that are even in the water.  Study in Canada found that a lot of fish were on Prozac.

Convincing people are depressed, it de-politicizes things-- takes away from people getting angry and active and unifying and uniting when you tell them they have a personal problem. 

They say in the US one out of four women are on an antidepressant.

They're now prescribing heavy duty seizure / epilepsy drugs for pain. 

Why are people taking an anti-psychotic for a little anxiety, or an anti-seizure drug for pain?
