Man thinks because he rules the earth he can do with it as he please
And if things don't change soon, he will

Probably the biggest whistleblower to ever just come out and reveal the secret machinations of US foreign policy -- call it the Kissinger Doctrine -- was a CIA operative by the name of Duane Clarridge, deep undercover in the Inferno now. He proudly crowed to investigative journalist John Pilger about his and the Company's take-out of "What's-his-name" in Chile. In his interview with Pilger, his arrogance and presumption are astonishing to behold: Check it out. Clarridge's was a drum major whistle. More recently, Elon Musk was found marching to the beat of Clarridge's drum, when he responded to the accusation that the US had sponsored a coup in Bolivia so that he could obtain lithium. "We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it," he reportedly replied.
Clarridge and Musk, the bad cop and good cops for the Military-Industrial Complex, neo-liberal expansion enforced by neo-conservative empire-building -- the monsters of capitalist growth. Look out! The minotaur is the maze: Don't get caught without a clew. These are the enemies of common sense and democratic socialism. When they whine through their noses, "National security," to justify the atrocities of their magical thinking, imposed against our wills, Abu Ghraib and Gitmo not sent messages to 'terrorists,' but to us civilians, the plainclothes enemy non-combatants of Das Kapital, free to buy or die. Fascists: The trick is not to pin it on Clarridge, Musk or Trump, in some Two-Minute Hate Rant that wastes energy, but to be conscious of fascist thinking and avoid it, like the Plague.
Everything Must Change: The World After Covid-19 is an urgent new collection of dialogues from lefty elites whose subject matter covers the broad spectrum of global social and political transformations they claim are necessary to avoid human extinction in the near future. You can't get much more urgent than that. The volume is edited by Guatemalan Renata à vila and Croatian SreÄ"ko Horvat, both members of DiEM25, a pan-European movement that aims to truly democratize the European Union.
Included in the volume are the transcribed voices of such lefty luminaries as Vijay Prashad, Noam Chomsky, Saskia Sassen, Gael Garcà a Bernal, Slavoj ... i... ek, Astra Taylor, Brian Eno, Yanis Varoufakis, Jeremy Scahill, Evgeny Morozov, Johann Hari, Daniel Ellsberg, Angela Richter, Tariq Ali, Kenneth Goldsmith, Roger Waters (yeah, the pink one), and many others. They roll up the sleeves of their tongues and get right to work. This ain't no holiday.
