"CALL TO ACTION" AD DONATIONS: http://www.impeachteam.com/donations.php
Dear Friends and Activists,
The discussions with Marcy Winograd (D-CA), 36th C.D., bore fruit tonight as she expressed her desire to sign on as a founding member of the Impeach Team. Charles Coleman, Jr. (D-CA), 28th C.D., and Bob McCloskey (D-CA), 29th C.D. were hoping Marcy would join them in a united front, and she has, with now all three major progressive Democratic primary challengers in the Los Angeles area working together to speak out on impeachment.
What the people in the Los Angeles area can know, and soon the rest of the entire country, is that the move for impeachment is not just an isolated phenomenon, but that there is broad sentiment to finally challenge and confront George W. Bush and Dick Cheney for their repeated and egregious abuses of power. And there are candidates in multiple districts now working together who are all demonstrating the leadership that will be required to REALLY take back our Congress.
Los Angeles is especially hard because the media is spread over so many districts, but by working together the candidates on the Impeach Team are making joint buys of advertising time, to get the message out that they are not just waiting to get elected, they are fighting to defend the people now.

"CALL TO ACTION" AD DONATIONS: http://www.impeachteam.com/donations.php
Thanks to your donations, the Impeach Team has already secured online ads via email with the Los Angeles Times, and will have the featured activism slot in the Air America national email news alert this coming week, along with coordinated streaming spots. But with your help they can do so much more. So please give whatever you can because these campaigns could be a real tipping point.
Each and every one of these media buys will be a "call to action", recruiting more people to speak out directly themselves to our current members of Congress, asking them to call for impeachment now. So you can see that your donations are going to build a movement, as well as support the candidates leading that movement. And if Congress won't listen, you can tell your friends you know three candidates who will . . . named Bob McCloskey, Charles Coleman, and Marcy Winograd.
