I was going to post a commentary titled "Can You Trust the Mainstream Media?" which would have taken you on a trip into the Twilight Zone where an increase in tax revenue and expenditures is called a cut, but when I went online, I saw another article about the Jena 6.Once again, it was an article that distorted the truth about the Jena 6. This one was an MSN article titled "Jena Mayor Calls Song Inflammatory." You can find it here http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=278611 I was going to comment on it there, but MSN would not let me for some reason. So, I decided to post this instead. After reading this, please post a link to my commentary here as a comment on MSN if you are allowed.
As usual, this article does not tell the whole story. Instead, it gives the impression that the Jena 6 beat another student just because they were upset because nooses had been hung at their school. It fails to mention that the white student who was beaten had been involved with a group of whites who beat a black student just a few days earlier and that he was taunting the black students about that beating.
This article also fails to mention that the prosecuting attorney refused to take action about the beating of the black student and about a white who pulled a gun and threatened black students, and most importantly, it fails to mention that the prosecutor threatened to make the blacks who were complaining about his refusal to prosecute those crimes disappear with the stroke of his pen. If that is not racism, injustice, and an abuse of power, then what is?
The real crime in Jena has been committed by the prosecuting attorney whose failure to enforce the law equally has resulted in some people feeling like they can get away with anything and others feeling like their only chance for justice is through vigilante action.
If you want to know more about what really happened, watch the video of the parents of the Jena 6 speaking at the National Judicial Reform Conference, and if you want to know what the statement "No Justice, No Peace" means, watch the video of my speech, and you will also learn about your rights to justice that have been taken away and how a restoration of those rights is necessary to restore justice and ensure peace.

Speech titled "No Justice, No Peace" given by Mark A. Adams, Esquire JD/MBA at the National Judicial Reform Conference at Rice University in Houston, Texas on August 11, 2007.Higher Quality Video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5135583133302349969
Lower Quality Video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5274592268158533722If you want to watch the video of "Jena" a great song by John Mellencamp, you can do so here http://www.mellencamp.com/ but don’t bother trying to find it on You Tube. You Tube’s "user community" has deemed that it is inappropriate for anyone to watch without signing in, and of course, they would not let me sign in. After all, I have been called a danger to the public for my efforts to expose judicial corruption, and since I have also become involved in exposing election fraud and media misinformation, I guess that I have been banned from some web sites that want to suck up to the powers that be.
Finally, I just want to thank those like John Mellencamp who use their ability to help inform the people about issues facing our world, and of course, I want to thank Rob, Joan, and everyone who brings us OpEdNews.com for allowing us to learn about the many important issues which the mainstream media wants to keep quiet.
