IMMIGRATION & THE POPE'S CHILDREN
- On Reproductive Takings, Overpopulation,
Per-Capita Ruin And Environmental Chaos -

"Those fighting birth control want to eliminate a device indispensable for the preservation of peaceful human cooperation and social division of labor. Where the standard of living is impaired by the excessive increase in population, irreconcilable conflicts of interest arise... Social cooperation is impossible if people give rein to the natural impulse of proliferation."
Ludwig Von Mises, Human Action

Lost in the immigration debate today is any discussion of the influence of religion, particularly the dogma of the Catholic Church and its sway over the people of the Latin American countries - whose endless line of poor and unfortunates we are asked to continually absorb.
In any case, all population growth above replacement represents a per capita "taking" of space and resources from the community. Thus, any church which represses women's reproductive rights, prohibits contraception, interferes in the politics of protestant nations, and produces a steady stream of have-nots looking to be succored by more responsible nations is, in effect, taxing others and ruining the better world - a real tragedy in and of the Commons.
All such dogma is nothing less than an on-going menace - and a very costly one at that. Indeed, we in the USA today are paying a heavy price for irresponsible procreation and religious dogmas embracing same, as well as for the corrupt, oligarchic, nature of so many Latin American nations. The very countries who need the young men to build a better world in their own countries are sending them north - thus do the rotten regimes get rid of their potential dissidents. Yet all these nation need do (other than escaping from Catholic Dogma) is to stoke up their own central banks and create infrastructure work programs - New Deals for Latin American nations.
Instead, we are ruining two countries at the same time with our outdated constitution and its get-over-the-border-and-have-a-baby for an instant citizenship ticket policy. Clearly, we will not see an improving world, as opposed to more social and ethnic conflict, until we change our counterproductive, outdated immigration policies, stop supporting dismal dogmas, and pressure Latin American regimes to better their own circumstances.
At a time when environmentalists tell us we are already 23% percent beyond a sustainable "footprint" upon the earth, we can no longer regard such per-capita takings and illegal immigration lightly. If we care about the future and the lives of our children and seven generations hence then we are now at a moment when population growth incentives must stop and incentives for population balance must be adopted. Yet, all our tax and social incentives remain utterly counterproductive and ruinous to date as we effectively encourage illegal immigration, fail to tax the third child, and promote a growth-to-ruin agenda.
It is not a question of "racism" or whether we're dealing with Brown people or White people or Yellow people. It is a question of whether we can keep from collapsing our world, the better estate, and leaving the planet in the same or better condition as we inherited from our parents. It is simply a question of an ethic of Balance replacing a ruinous Growthism. (see Growthism.com)
Unfortunately, the Popes and Ayatollahs of the world are preventing us from achieving a stable, balanced economic and more open social environment. They are taxing their own and all others as well. Their outdated dogma is utterly ruinous and costing us billions while imprisoning women from achieving balanced populations and a better world. Their dogma is bringing us wars over space and resources. Clearly, it is time to to tax, and not support, ruinous religious dogma and irresponsible reproductive behavior.
Consider that, today, we are still producing 85 million new, beyond-replacement, beings EVERY YEAR. In effect, that is 85 new cities of one million each clamoring for space and resources. That is simply a dismal recipe for inflation, conflict, depletion, and collapse.
In California and many other states, the real-world costs of this "growth" diminishment and perpetual per-capita takings decline mean schools, parks, and public spaces are greatly overcrowded, farm land is disappearing at over 100,000 acres per year, and the social demands are multiplying while our debt and liabilities increase. As population continues to mushroom our budgets and freedom are sabotaged and the quality of life falls precipitously - all crushed by Papal birth demands translating into ever-less space, civility, tranquility, and evermore cost, conflict, and insecurity.

"Through love of having children, we are going to take over"
Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City councilman

"The explosion is in our population" I love it. They [gringos] are sh*tting in their pant with fear. I love it"
Art Torres, Chairman, Califonia Democratic Party

"We are practicing 'Reconquista' in California" we need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos."
Professor Fernando Guerra,
Loyola Marymount University

What we are facing is a Papal population imperialism - a we-will-crush-you-with-our-babies strategy in which the proponents have no concern for the very world they are creating, even for their own. Such malicious and mindless idiocy is hard to fathom, and surely costly to take. One also wonders how the "A Day Without Mexicans" people would feel about a "Day Without The USA" - i.e., when there is no place to run to escape the dismal religious dogmas producing the need to emigrate in the first place.
We cannot stop this ruin, or preserve any better world - for ALL children - unless we stiffen immigration penalties, seek payment from Mexico and other nations whose children we are raising, and help women achieve access to contraception and escape from utterly dysfunctional and counterproductive religious dogma.
We, the unbelievers, are heavily taxed by this population imperialism. Yet, even in the face of wholesale social and environmental decline, we seem unable to propose or pursue any salutary balance or taxing of the per-capita-takings ruin. We are failing future generations. With so many still paralyzed by counterproductive, costly, and ruinous "moral" dogma, and Bush regime population policy idiocy, we ignore at our peril the ramifications of reproductive takings and neo-imperialisms of the womb.
In sum, the particular culture, race, religion, or color of people affecting a destruction of balance and exporting human chaos is of no importance. Regardless of color, culture, or belief, everyone else (and nature) must bear the social and ecological taxations of Catholic-Islamic-type creeds and our own brand of fundamentalist "moral" behavior.
Regardless of creed, where the social, fiscal, and ecological effects of our beliefs impact and tax others, then communities, nations, and secular societies have both a right, and duty, to protect the society and environment we share in common from irresponsible dogma. As things stand, everyone else must pay, in a myraid of ways, for the policies of infallible Popes, fundamentalist Ayatollahs, and ruthless oligarchs who export their surplus populations, encourage migration, and force others to pick up the tab for their "moral" dictatorships and oligarchic exploitations.
In today's already overpopulated world on the brink, a truly human, compassionate, and moral social ethic will embrace an ethic of Balance. Growthism and its perpetual per-capita ruin is clearly the path to conflict, chaos, and warfare.
