Utah press (SL Tribune and DesNews) used to routinely call me for a
comment when they wrote articles on voting equipment, that is, until
Joe Demma invented a fictitious story about a fictitious company that
he claimed I owned that that Demma claimed wanted to do business with
Utah Election Office and Demma invented a fictitious story about the
fictitious company claiming that the NASS.org association voted that
it "was run by whackos". Joe Demma sent this fictitious story to Utah
press. Utah press were intelligent enough not to report Demma's
outright manipulative lies, but it did have the effect of that the
press no longer called me for statements, in spite of my credentials
in math and computer science and experience as a technological
innovator, my devoting my life to the vote count integrity issue as a
volunteer for over two years, and my expertise in math, election
integrity news, and computer voting systems.
the fact that the Utah Lt. Governor's office is feeding a continuous
stream of lies to the press and to county officials whenever it speaks
about Utah's new voting system and began writing factual articles by
interviewing local Utah election activists and computer experts,
rather than finding people who seem to understand little and care even
less about the dangers of electronic voting, like Mike Vu to be their
"experts".
