Even as all TV networks are applauding improvements in the Iraq quagmire owing to the troop surge, particularly in al Anbar province, four Marines were killed yesterday and two bridges were blown up in... you guessed it, Anbar. Just days ago, President Bush said Anbar was an example of success in Iraq.
And four more US and British troops were killed yesterday elsewhere in Iraq, as the total deaths are expected to be higher this month than they were for last September. Why?-- because US troop deaths are higher for every month this year than for the corresponding month last year.
Keep this in mind as the lies unfold over the next week from the "successful" surge report.
