So, you support our troops?

Let's suppose that, however unlikely it is, you're a Bush supporter with those "Support our Troops" stickers on the back of your SUV who wound up here by mistake, reading this.

Let's take a look at what your version of support for our troops has done for them.

You've supported more than three thousand of them right into their graves.

You've supported more than twenty thouand of them to be blown up, missing arms and legs, horribly mutilated and to be haunted by the horrors of their experience for the rest of their lives.

You've supported them in following the orders of George Bush in killing several hundred thousand innocent men, women and children.

You've supported them in violating the Constitution, the Geneva Convention, the Nuremberg Conventions and international law by invading and occupying a country with neither the means or intent to harm the United States.

You've supported them in waging war in a foreign country when they work for the Defense Department whose job is to defend the United States, not attack other countries for no reason.

If you can continue your support for George Bush and the troops under his command who are obligated to follow his orders, you can help him kill as many innocent people as were killed in World War 11. If you just keep up your support for him, he'll get there.

So, If I'm so smart, how would I support our troops? I would support them first in being alive to be able to receive my support. Support is of no value to the dead. Being in favor of someone going where people are trying to kill them is not supporting them, it's the opposite. You support them being in Iraq with the opportunity to be killed. I support them being in the US with the opportunity to live.

My version of Support our Troops is to do everything I can to see that they live out their full lives, the same as for you and me.

About those cutsey Support our Troops stickers you're so proud of, you can roll them up and stick them up your, uh, nose.
