For several years I have been making as many purchases as possible in cash. Recently, when asked if my purchase would be credit or debit, I answered as I frequently do with: "Little green pieces of paper with pictures of dead presidents on them." In reply, the clerk remarked, "Wow, we don't see many of those around here anymore."
