Secrets of the Seasons

The study of the four seasons is an illuminating spiritual experience because it reveals knowledge that can be used in all aspects of ones life. I started studying the seasons almost seven years ago and it has made a profound improvement in my intuition and prophecy. I have been able to predict the outcome of problems and situations that normally would have left me anxiety driven and frustrated. The flow of the four seasons can be applied to any situation including the current candidacy for the democratic nomination.

Spring brings birth and newness of things. Though filled with life and new energy there is certain vulnerability about this season. Seedlings are vulnerable to harsh weather such as frost or too much rain which can beat it down and there is also the vulnerability to birds and other animals who feed on small seedlings.

When Obama first came on the scene he was like this little seedling, kind of weak, vulnerable when compared to the more experienced candidates. In our own life as infants we had to be taken care of, fed, bathed, clothed and tended to because we were not capable of doing this for ourselves. The latest fashions come with a newness and vulnerable to being rejected instantly. Problems in our life often enter in a small way seemingly not detrimental or a priority at the time. Spring is like the gentle wind.

Summer is when things reach their peak, the height of things and the ultimate climax. During this season we bask in the sun and enjoy ourselves. The seedling grows into a beautiful summer flower or delicious vegetable giving off fragrant flowers, vivid colors and lush green leaves.

Obama experienced his season of summer with a succession of wins in several states primaries and the media danced merrily around him as if he was the sun himself. In our own life we grow from a vulnerable infant and childhood into adulthood and experience love, sex and all the wonderful things that makes being grown-up so good. That latest new fashion is accepted and is no longer vulnerable to being rejected but is now the latest craze everyone is buying it and talking about it. Unfortunately, the problem that came into our life like a gentle wind is now a hot blistering sun and it feels like we are about to get burned by it. Summer is like the high burning hot noon day sun.

Fall brings us back down to earth and is the season of contemplation and soberness. The little flower dries up and turns weedy looking, losing its color.

Obama is presently in a state of fall in which the media no longer dances around him; he has become like the moon, unpredictable and illusive. Fall can be seen in the continuing aging of man as we move from adulthood into our senior years and we contemplate our lives the years we have left. That hot fashion that was the latest craze is scrutinized and the kinks are being pointed out it’s not as hot as it use to be. The problem that threatened to burn us is studied and contemplated for solutions. Fall is like the earth upon which we must fall if we slip.
