Pasta Fazool = Happy Easter!

Pasta Fazool (Happy Easter)! Pastafarians across the Universe today are uniting to celebrate the Flying Spaghetti Monster’s historic emergence from his 3-day slumber. Instead of exchanging the traditional Christian greeting of Happy Easter, Pastas slap each other on the back and tell each other “Pasta Fazool!”, which, loosely translated, has a meaning similar to al dente, or “it is done”. This is a great day of celebration for all Pastafarians and a time for family harmony. Children eagerly participate in traditional Ravioli hunts, with each child hoping that maybe this year he or she will be the lucky one who finds the ravioli piece with the special prize inside. Inside this prized ravioli is a very special prize indeed. Unlike the other pieces, which contain ricotta or meat or maybe a quarter or a silver dollar, this ravioli holds a pair of tickets inside the pasta shell. Not just any tickets. These tickets will admit the lucky finder and a friend to the annual concert and festival hosted by the venerable FSM herself, with special guest star none other than Hanna Montana! Now who wouldn’t be excited about that? That’s why my favorite holiday has always been Easter – I mean Pasta Fazool. And so I think today is a great day for all of us, whether we be Pastafarians, Christians or muslim extremists, to take a moment to pause and ask ourselves if we are really doing all we can to promote world peace and harmony? It is a good time to ask ourselves what we would want to say to the Holy FSM if we are lucky enough to find that special ravioli piece. And which friend would you take with you to the festival? I would just want to tell her, “Pasta Fazool, Your Holy Noodleage! Keep up the great work!” [By the way, I’m mostly Irish and I don’t claima to speaka mucha Italiano, so trust me when I say “loosely translated”, because I mean it!]
