Is it lost on everyone that the election has turned into a big circus side show? I mean in all this talk about change look at what's not changing and in fact, while we worry over Hillary's sincerity and ability to "open up" and marvel at the oratory skills and likability of Barack Obama, and chuckle at that "old rascal" John McCain getting some, the price of gas is going through the roof, the war spending and casualties continue to mount and the monetarist policy is trying to put out the fire of inflation and more uncertainty with Gasoline. Throw in the unworkable ethanol program and the punishment on food staples it is delivering, the fact that Israel is continuing it's oppression in the occupied territories unabated and now this Kosovo-Serbia thing is coming back to bite us on the backside, plus China and Russia are mad about all this and the satellite shoot down, what are our candidates talking about?

Xerox machines, plagiarism and how much the wives just love this country. Are we really that stupid? I think so considering how much we care about Hillary's marriage, Barack's vapid speeches and John McCain's philandering. You can't just blame it on the narrow focus and diversion of the Main Stream Media anymore, because you're seeing it here now at this so called cut above web site for the alternative views. I don't care how if Hillary ever has a warm and fuzzy moment and connects with my heart, I don't care if Barack Obama is ever sincere or even original, I don't care what John McCain does for his lobbyist girl friends, I don't even care if the candidates offer intelligent solutions to any of these things I've mentioned, at this point I'd be relieved to just hear them acknowledge that these things are going on speak sensibly about them. I don't want to hear, "We'll chase Osama Bin Laden through the gates of hell if we have to!"

I'm sick of this election circus. I'm sick of the punditry, polls, faux political analysis,  and strange DNC rules. I'm tired of hearing about the fund raising, I've quit watching the debates, they're meaningless and have been so for a long time. I can only conclude that what we're going to get in 09 is just more of the same. The same watching Israel justify oppressing, starving and blowing up the Gazans while keeping the entire Middle East unstable, the same unaffordable energy costs, the same effort to spark a new highly profitable arms race for the military-industrial complexes in the USA, Russia and China, more expensive food staples while the congress and farmers pretend that ethanol is somehow going to help alleviate anything, More inflation and reduced standard of living while our FED and it's skewed monetarist policy threatens to send the American economy, and everyone in it, off the tracks. More Iraq, More free trade, higher health care costs with or with out new taxes or new Insurance mandates, more phony bi partisan squabbling masking this underlying fascist-Communist controlling our Government, agenda.

I could go on, but I'm talking in a vacuum, I'd like to think I'm at least preaching to the choir, but I think even the choir is worried about the sex lives of the preacher or the congeniality of the hostess. The choir doesn't even notice the church rafters are full of rats. More War On Terror, more enemies than you can shake a stick at. More reality TV, More talk of change while the things remain the same or get worse. You have to hand it to those with the agenda, they know Americans better than Americans know themselves. More Stock Market Games and now suddenly girls are wearing red again. Well, I admit that red at least works for me.
