Doylestown - This Wednesday at 8pm EDT on 1360AM and on

ww.wnjc1360.com%252FLive_Netcast%252Flive_netcast.html) the Voice of the Voters
will be
examining what the government, voting experts and
the American people can do to address the voting
crisis facing the country today.

From the Government Accountability Office to
the Brennan Center for Justice and more, the
evidence is on our side: paperless DREs are a threat
to our Democracy
and our financial health. People across the
country are waking up to the problem and are hungry
for a solution that lets them know that their vote
counts.

And so from the halls of Congress, Representative
Rush Holt (NJ-12), author of the Voter Confidence
and Increased Accessibility Act of 2005 (H.R. 550),
will be on hand to discuss his bill and the
questions surrounding it.

Speaking from the frontlines of the grassroots
citizen action, Sarasota resident and voting rights
activist, Kindra Muntz, who fought and
won the struggle for paper ballots in Sarasota
County, will be back to report on the revote effort
happening in Florida. 18,000
(15%) lost votes and a margin of "victory" of fewer
than 400 votes are driving people by the hundreds
to protest the certification of the FL-13
congressional race and to demand a new vote. We'll
have the latest on that story.

We'll have audio interviews from the
unprecedented revote rally activity in Sarasota.
There's no better way to find out what citizens are
willing to do and why they're willing to do it than
to hear people give those
answers themselves. Tune in and find out.

We'll also be discussing the release of the
National Institute of Standards and Technology's
(NIST) important white paper that says that
paperless DRE machines cannot be made secure even
with a paper trail. Find out what that means, the
difference between a paper trail and a paper ballot
and why the judgment of NIST matters.

Paul Revere (Bob Gersener) will stop by to
inspire and inform us with his unique perspective on the
current crisis.

As always, John Gideon, Executive Director
of Voters

headstart on all the week's voting news before it
hits the major media.

Voice of the Voters is an hour devoted to
voting rights, election reform and voter-verified
paper ballots. Ultimately it is an exploration of
Democracy itself and the responsibilities of
citizens and their elected representatives. It airs
every Wednesday night at 8:00 PM ET on 1360 AM and on
the Internet.
