Mike Vu is the former Utah (Salt Lake County) Election Official that
the Salt Lake Tribune likes to quote as an "expert" on Utah's Diebold
elections.
--------------------------------------
In Cuyahoga County Ohio (Cleveland area) the Diebold memory cards --
which are actually BALLOT BOXES -- were toted around in Yellow cabs
with only one driver guarding piles of them at a time.
Strangely, the Yellow cab drivers understood instinctively what not a
single person in the Cuyahoga County elections division seemed to
"get": Yellow Cab Company wrote a letter to the elections division
objecting to being stuck with inappropriate chain of custody and
refusing to take the rap when dozens of ballot boxes were missing (12
are STILL missing).
Two members of the Cuyahoga County elections board have called for the
resignation of Director of Elections Michael Vu after multiple other
problems. Two disagreed, and secretary of state Kenneth Blackwell will
decide the tie. More on this here:

P.S.
Utah Count Votes desparately needs a volunteer to keep its web site or
forums listing Diebold or national voting system articles updated. I
don't have any time to do it and the site and the forum has not been
updated at all since March, 2006. Please contact me if you can take
over this chore by simply updating the site using information from
these emails. Thank you.
